Chapter 17

2nd POV
You seated yourself near a window seat since you enjoyed seeing the view, you felt a tap on your shoulder so you turn your head to face Kirishima.

"Hey uh, do you mind if I sit next to you?" He asked.

"Not at all, it's all yours." You told him, he looked eager and immediately sat right next to you.

As the bus starts to move you look outside the window to admire the moving view. Your eyes begin to flutter close at the cold AC right above you and lack of energy.

You regretted going manhunting with Toga last night.

You decided to take a quick nap before arriving at the camp, you lay your cheek inside your palm. The position wasn't all good and you'll probably wake up with an aching neck but you needed the rest.

There were a couple of bumps on the road making you shift a little in your slumber. There was another bump in the road but this time it was a little bigger than the rest, since you were sitting half-way from the back part of the bus your body lunged and move your sleeping position.

Your body move by itself as it finds a source of warmth within your reach and the best warmth was body warmth from the person sitting beside you.

Kirishima was minding his own business when he felt his shoulder gotten heavier. The red-haired boy glance beside him to see you resting your head on his shoulder.

"(Y/N)..? Are you awake-" Kirishima started but got cut off when he heard you snoring. "Guess not..." He muttered to himself.

He didn't want to wake you up or even bother to change your sleeping position because he felt bad if he did so. In class he usually sees you sleeping- or thought you were napping during lessons. Kirishima wasn't sure if you were pretending to sleep or is sleeping in general, all because of that mask, Kirishima couldn't see the deity he saw in the Sports Festival.

He wanted to see you smile brightly without the mask covering it.

Is your facial expression the same as your tone of voice every time you talk with each other?

Why are you still wearing your mask when everyone already knows how you look like?

These questions always imprisoned Kirishima as he took glances your way each minute as if you'll pull your mask off and smile at the redhead before telling him that he doesn't need to overthink himself.

He wants to see your eyes, your enchanting (E/C) colored orbs staring into his red ones with much... Affection.

Why does he suddenly felt his heart stop when he thought about something bad happening to you?

Aizawa then informs the class that they were going to stop for a restroom break, hearing the information Kirishima nudges your shoulder on an attempt to wake you up which didn't work. He then continues doing it until you finally flutter your eyes open.

You straighten your sitting posture, your head was spinning but you took a moment to stare at your seatmate to see a still redden Kirishima.

'Cute...' You thought to yourself as you stretch out your arms a little until you heard a satisfying crack. "Sorry for sleeping on you." You apologize to the redhead.

"It's not a problem, I didn't want to wake you up either way." Kirishima said in a jovial mood as always.

"That's really sweet of you Kiri." You claimed while poking his cheek before you both start to walk out of the bus, making Kirishima blush red at the nickname.

When the class was outside they notice Class 1-B wasn't there with them, instead there were 2 females wearing cat-like costumes and a little brunette haired boy. The 2 females then did their usual introduction, they stop examining the students when they got a glimpse of you.
