Chapter 37

2nd POV
"How are they doing?"

"They're stable for now, their heartbeat sometime halted and then moments later their heartbeat came back. We're not even sure how they can still sustain stability." The doctor answered while looking at the clipboard.

The monitor beside the hospital bed that's been beeping in the background unexpectedly goes flat. The doctor notice and instructed the nurse at the doorway to appoint the visitor in the room to go outside.

"You have to get out, the doctor needs her space!" The nurse urge before closing the door roughly.

"How can they be seizing?! They don't have a heart rhythm."

"Starting compression."

The individual stood there in silence before going to the benches while trying their best to calm down. The person trembled on their seat as they speculated dozens possibilities that could happen to you.

You gradually get a grip of the physique of your ears to take notice to music playing rather loudly. You turn your head to your right for the sunshine from the window to scorch your eyes.

You jolt up, startling the other individual in the room.

"Wow wow wow! Take it easy there. Relax. You're in a hospital." The person notified.

"Hospital..? What? Who are you-" You started but got cut off.

"Shh... You were in a coma for weeks, so you should lay back down ok? I'll go get the others." The person claimed while clicking the nurse call button before leaving the room.

Soon another nurse open the door to your room and immediately gasped. She went to the nurse's room and informed the others about your awakening.

You notice white particles were falling down the sky. You stood up and went to your window to take a closer look, you open the window barely and set your hand out.

'It's cold...'

You blinked a few times until your body flinched when the door slammed open revealing a doctor.

"(Y/N) (L/N)? How are you feeling?" The doctor questioned while making his way towards you.

"A bit dizzy." You muttered.

"You're safe now, you'll stop feeling dizzy once you adjust to the light." The doctor instructed and guided you back to the hospital bed.

"How long was I out?" You inquired.

"Ten weeks and three days to be exact." The doctor answered.

"Thank you." You sighed while holding your forehead. "Uhm... Where's the nurse with the light purple hair?"

"Nurse with light purple hair? I don't think we have any nurses with that color hair, I could check if you want." The doctor offered.

"Nevermind. I think I was still a bit dazed because of the coma aftermath." You mumbled.

"It's relatively common so you don't have to worry about it." The doctor informed you before leaving the room.

You look around the room to notice a few things on the table beside your bed, you shuffle slightly to repositioned yourself so you can easily examine the items on the table. You observe each one carefully, your thoughts were still fuzzy however you manage to speculate why the items were there.

"I want to surprise them..."

"We have two special guests today." Vlad King informed the sea of students.
