Chapter 28

Your POV
I walked down the empty street as the sudden rain kept pouring from the dark grey sky. I just finished an assassination work but I didn't wear my Villain costume, instead I wear a plain sweater.

I stopped in my tracks as I felt a sudden headache. I groan slightly at the pain before I abruptly collapsed on the cold concrete road.

I saw a small glimpse of light before fluttering my eyes shut. Was it the person's that I assassinate quirk? Or was it something that I eat?

??? POV
Huh? Why is someone walking around in such heavy weather and this late at night?

I shouldn't judge them but this could highly affect their health, I'm not sure what to do-

*Thud*

"H-Hey! Are you ok?!" I shouted as I rushed towards the laying person.

I held my umbrella to protect us both from the rain while I use my other hand to examine the person in need. I then check the pulse to fortunately find one, I carefully carry them as I head towards my house.

The nearest hospital is quite far and the rain is getting harsher than before, if I did risk going to the hospital then I'll just worsen this person's health by using my engines and make my surroundings cooler.

Your POV
When I gain my consciousness once again I felt a thick cloth above me and another one on my forehead. Everything was blurry at first but my eyesight got better eventually.

"I see that you're awake." A stern voice said, I look around and saw someone at the door.

"Hello, Iida..." I weakly greeted him.

He slowly came closer and sit down on a nearby chair. He kept his dark blue eyes on me, observing every movement I made which is technically none at the moment.

He has a bucket halfway full of warm water, he took the cloth above my forehead and squeezes it before dipping it into the bucket.

"Don't worry I won't do anything to your precious family." I laughed slightly but coughed when my voice suddenly becomes sorer.

I sitted myself with the help of Iida and one of my arms while grasping my throat with the other.

"You know I can call the cops right now and they'll send you right to Tartarus." Iida warned but he looked like he regretted saying that.

"But you didn't." I strike back at him.

He chuckled lightly while retreating the now warmer towel to my forehead. He also gave me a glass of warm tea, I took it from his hands and drink the tea.

My eyes shot open before giving Iida a suspicious glare. He seems confused at my sudden demeanor but came to the realization quickly with his big brain.

"I didn't put anything in it I swear." Iida claimed hurriedly.

"I should go, I don't want you to be dragged into my mess." I admitted as I try to give the half-full cup of tea to Iida but he refused.

"I really need to talk to you... Please..." Iida said as he stares intensely at me. "I know this is wrong, you're a Villain and I'm a Hero in training. I'm supposed to turn you in, to stop you, or call the authority but I just can't."

"You really love playing Hero don't you?"

"What do you mean, (Y/N)-"

"Why do you even care? I know you despise me for all the things that happen."

"You rather I left you in the bad weather and freeze to death? I never hated you, (Y/N). Never in a million years."

"...Then you're dumber than I thought." I mumbled.
