[ Jeno, I don't think we can ever be what we were before. I'm sorry. It was a mistake. You shouldn't have opened the letter when it landed to you but still, I want to thank you for writing a reply to me. You were very thoughtful as always but I believe it's better for us to stay this way. Please don't seek out for further reasons why because our situation is not as simple as you thought. Just know that you make me really happy Jeno. Let this letter be the last and I will hope no more. ]

Kallea had read the words written perpetually, she was even close to memorize it, but how come she can't seal it?

Numerous sheets of papers were discarded before she came up with something to write in the letter. Nevertheless, she still ended up writing the words she knew with certainty could hurt his feelings.

Sitting there while contemplating the viable sequels of her decision is archly disturbing. She had thought about Jeno's feelings multiple times, 'Will he get hurt or will he toss the letter after reading what's written inside?'. She had thought about the remorseful feeling she could get by letting the chance slip on her fingers. Writing a letter back at Jeno could create a bond between them, it could bring back their old friendship, and if the wind plays a frolic game again, it could lead to something more.

Kallea knew things would never be the same once she got noticed by Jeno, but now she realized she's better off being unnoticed.

Folding the letter in half, sealing it, and settling with her decision, Kallea adamantly spoke to the air with finality. "I never wanted it to be like this. I'm really sorry Jeno."

Dragging her feet towards the window, she hesitantly peeks out at the house next door. The royal blue curtains were shoved to the side already, the windows of his room were opened as well, but she didn't catch even a small glimpse of Jeno's shadow inside.

Quite disappointed, Kallea decided to never keep an eye on Jeno for this day. He's nowhere to be found, luck should better be on her side next time so she could have the full chance to hand him the letter.

Before going back to bed, as usual, her eyes involuntarily swept around the area-hoping to spot Jeno's bike-until it landed downwards. She descries the familiar yellow seat in one corner and there, she found him sitting, completely unaware that she's at her windows staring.

The sight made her lips to pull up in a smile. Jeno looks no different to a child waiting for his parents to pick him up in school. He is fiddling in a grass upon his feet, murmuring as if he's been practicing what to say.

Staring intently at Jeno's adorable state, Kallea's plan straightaway turned tentative. She can feel the efforts and time she invested in thinking for hours got neglected in just a swift glance at Jeno.

As if on trance, Jeno hinted her presence and looks up at her. She then felt a prick on her chest when she saw how his face lits up the moment he shifts his eyes on her. Mixed with the twinge is happiness. She feels so elated when she saw him waiting, considering the fact that no one has waited for her in any way before. It was too late now to notice that she was already torn between giving the letter she wrote for Jeno to utterly end things between them or consider giving their friendship a chance to at least give consolation for the thousands of letters she wrote for him.

Rushing to stand up, Jeno happily waves at her. The excitement can't be hidden on his countenance, his face states it all. It now leads Kallea to ask silently, 'Is he really looking forward to this?'
