Chapter 3

                When I opened my eyes I was instantly confused, I had no idea where I was. The last thing I could remember was being in a car with Stefan and Damon yet now here I was, stood in a hallway of what I could only describe as the most beautiful house that I had ever been in.do you know when you’re stood somewhere and you can just tell that you were in somewhere huge? Well that was how I felt now. Everything was magnificent in a way that could only be achieved in older times and I could only guess that this was a dream.

                I hadn’t been paying attention so I was shocked when Stefan was suddenly in front of me with a girl on his arm. He did not acknowledge my presence so I guessed that he couldn’t see me and this also confirmed my thoughts that this was a dream. I must say though that I was curious as to why I would dream of this.

                “I had a lovely time, Stefan.” The girl spoke and it was clear through the look of absolute adoration on Stefan’s face that he loved her.

                “How long do you plan on staying in Mystic Falls?” Stefan asked her with hope clear in his voice.

                “As long as I’m wanted. You father has been very kind to give me a shelter.”

                “How could he not? Losing your family in the fire, gratefully you made it to Atlanta.”

                “So, I gather I’m wanted?”

                I’m not sure what it was about this girl but I didn’t like her. It’s just something about the way she acted that didn’t bode well with me. She set off warning bells within me. I almost missed what was said next so I decided to shut off my mental blabbering and just listen.

                “Uh, very much so. I know…we’ve only known each other for a short while and I know I’m in competition for your affections but I’ve never met a woman quite like you. I look at you and I see an angel. I touch your skin and my entire body ignites. I kiss you and I know that I’m falling in love.”

                At this point I didn’t know whether to gush about how cute that was or to ask for someone to pass me a bucket so I could puke. I watched as Stefan lightly kissed her and I felt embarrassed watching them together even though this was only a dream.

                “I am in love with you.” Stefan finished.

                “There’s so much you don’t know about me, Stefan.”

                Her statement only served to add to the hate I was already starting to feel towards her. The guy had just declared his love for her and that is how she answered. Can you say bitch with a capital B. I could only imagine the courage it must have taken for him to confess that to her and that is how she replies. What a cold hearted witch.

                With my mental ranting I had missed what happened next but I was all of a sudden in in what must have been the girl’s bedroom and Damon was coming forward and kissing her. Could this girl actually get any worse? How many more guys was she stringing along?
