Hey here's chapter 1. I apologise in advance for any mistakes. Let me know if you find any bad ones. Just to let you know my story does include some swearing throughout but don't worry there's not too much, it's just to make the story more realistic to our time because let's be honest most people do actually swear even if it's only occassionally. Hope you like it.

Claim My Heart
Chapter 1
“For fucks sake , brat! Where’s my god damn food?”
I was broken from my daydreams by my father’s furious yell. I quickly shook my head to clear it and grabbed the tray of food I had made earlier from the kitchen counter. I rushed into the dining room and deposited it onto the table in front of the man sat there in a crisp business suit.
“I apologise, father.” I mumbled to him.
“Whatever, brat. Make sure my food’s on time tomorrow or else.”
I scurried from the room with my father’s threat still hanging in the air. I looked nothing like the man, my hair was dark red whilst his was a dirty blond, my skin was tanned showing my mother’s Native American heritage whereas my father was quite a pale man. I had been told before that I looked almost exactly like my mother but I couldn’t confirm that seeing as she’d died when I was two years old, too young to truly know her. We did not speak of her in our house, father forbid it. Now, father, that’s a complicated issue right there. Our relationship wasn’t a good one, he treated me as if I were a slave not his daughter. Although he did give me one privilege. Education. I was home schooled so at least I could read and write and everything else but this meant I didn’t have friends from a school. To be quite honest I had never left this house, another thing father forbid. I longed to feel the sun’s rays, the droplets of rain on my skin, to see parts of the world that I had only ever read about, to hear the sounds of the birds overhead and animals in the woods.
I longed to be free.
Just like him.
I first met him twelve years ago when I was just five years old. It was 8pm and past my bedtime but I couldn’t sleep. Mr Rabbit, my toy bunny, was missing and I wouldn’t be able to get to sleep without him. He kept me safe at night and it was my only reminder of my mummy. I had gotten out of my bed and tiptoed to my door. I had pushed it open quietly and peered around the hallway to make sure nobody was there to see me and send me back to bed.
In my little five-year-old mind, nothing had mattered more than getting my favourite stuffed toy back. I had descended the stairs as quietly as I could, being careful to avoid any steps that I knew creaked. When I had reached the bottom I had stood there for a short time trying to remember where I had left him. Suddenly I had remembered having a tea party with him and Miss Emily, my nanny, in the dining room.
I had happily skipped over to the door with a giant smile on my face, only to have it drop off when I had opened the door. The room hadn’t been empty as I would have thought, instead my father had been in there and he hadn’t been alone. He’d sat at the table with two other men. The two had looked quite similar, like brothers. Both had dark hair but one of the men’s hair had been darker, black. Their facial structures were the same but their eyes had stood out, the man with slightly lighter hair had green eyes whilst the others had been almost black. I didn’t know these men and I’d cowered slightly when everyone turned to look at me. I’d looked towards my father to see him angrier than I’d ever seen him before, angrier than when I’d accidentally knocked his papers everywhere which had been scary so naturally I had stood shaking in fear. My father had rose from his seat and stalked towards me. He had raised his hand about to hit me when the green eyed man had suddenly been there with my father’s wrist in his hand, effectively stopping him.
