It was lunchtime and Son Seungwan was standing in front of the elevator door at the 9th floor. She was going to have her quick lunch at the McDonald's near her workplace because she only had few minutes spare.
The elevator signaled that it was still on the 11th floor so she impatiently wait for it to stop at the floor where she was. She tapped her heels randomly.
She checked her reflection on the elevator door to see if her clothes were still fine despite of long hours of sitting on her desk. She was wearing a black dress with little ruffles and white collar as details and paired it with a 3-inch black heels. Her short black hair and bangs fitter her overall outfit well. She put a light make up on to complete her look for the day.

Few seconds later, the elevator ding-ed in front of her making her stand with much poise while she was waiting the door to open. Much to her surprise, the least person she wanted to be with inside the elevator was there.
Her rival in the position of Chief Operating Officer or General Manager was there, Do Kyungsoo. The two made contact but they both looked away at the same time. Seungwan held her head high as she entered the elevator. She stood beside him and leaned her back behind her. There was a complete silence between them and she could feel the tension inside.
Do Kyungsoo was also a senior employee in the company where she was working in and he also had much credentials that even their workmates acknowledged his intelligence and skills. She did hate him for some reason because she badly wanted to be the COO.
However, she knew that he had much chance than her because he worked there for a longer period. But still, she was doing her best to get the position. Workers there could feel the rivalry between the two and they thought it was amusing to watch them fight each other in terms of work.
No one was speaking. In her side glance, she saw him looking straightly in front with a serious expression behind those black frame, round glasses. He was wearing a semi-formal attire with gray suit and blue and yellow striped tie while his brown-ish hair was neatly pushed back. His presence screamed power and he was indeed attractive.
