Bridget's Little Secret

Stupid Demon

Yami took a deep breath.
It's been a while since he last spends his time just staring in the blue sky.
The mysterious intruder that breaks the school barrier so easily.
The Demon attempts to massacre the teachers and students and also invade this world,perhaps. And the silver haired arrogant man who helps them and also refuses to help them.
Then lastly, that one teacher that unluckily almost died because of the severed mana flow.

"He actually saved us."

It was shocking.
It is very unlikely to find  a person that's able to raise the dead to life  like that.
When he heard what happened he reprimanded the teachers. 
'How can you argue with the person that let you all live?'

'Sir, we are angry. We are not thinking straight.'

'Sure you are angry! So what if you are angry? The one who killed you is the demon. You got mad to your savior because you are angry? Even I will not help you!'

He was very mad that day.
He should have asked that silver hair to stay and become his host. But what?
He also questioned him. 

"I should have just thank him."

"What?"

"Huh?"

When Yami opened his eyes, he saw the small hand that's almost touching his forehead.

Bridget took her hand back. 
"I thought you are sick so…." Bridget says looking away.

Yami smiles.
"I am just tired."

Bridget sits down beside him. He is sleeping in the grass.

".....Did the silver haired guy made trouble for you?"

"Huh?"

Yami looks at the pouting child.

"Did the silver hair guy action….causes more damage than help?" Bridget asks while looking at the sky 

Yami is looking at her.
He thought, she sounds worried and apologetic.
He thinks that is crazy.

"Are you worried? About the silver haired guy? About the school."
Yami asks.

"No."

"So fast…" he chuckles. "Actually, that silver haired guy is a hero. This school Hero. He is someone you can't even ask for help because he is so prestigious but he still generously lent us his strength. Sadly, we are self centered that time and refuse to acknowledge it. I hope…..he won't hold a grudge against us. And to be able to thank him someday."
Yami stares at the blue sky.

Bridget peeks at Yami.
And then she stares at the sky and smiles.

"I enjoy talking to smart people."

"Hmm?"

Bridget stood up.

"Don't worry. That person…...I am sure he knows that you are thankful."

Yami laughs.
"You think?"

"Of course. Because you are a good guy."

Yami sneers.
"What do you want? I will treat you to something good."

"Maybe next time. I still need to go to my master's laboratory."

"Ah? I heard our great Black magician accepted an apprentice but I didn't know it was you."

"Hahahaha."

Amariya steps forward to hinder Bridget on her way to the fifth floor.
