Got Lost

After Alfonso's third birthday the first Queen always sending me lots of delicious sweets. At first, the cakes are very tasty even if they are mixed chemicals on it. But later it become half chemical half food so it taste disgusting and it smells. I don't eat them anymore. Though I like the look of the Queen staring at me waiting till I drop dead but eventually become very furious that nothing happened.

I think her first agenda of hurting me to get even with my mother disappear and she just wish to see me suffers.

She is a bit small headed if that is true. I mean she is the first Queen and has 3 princes son. Fighting against me a 5 year old is really making her looks like a sore loser.

"Your highness, what would you want to do this afternoon?"

"Let's go to town."

"Oh. I will ask the Queen to give as permission to go then."

"Hmm."

My mother, the fourth Queen, doesn't love me but she doesn't make things hard for me. If I need food, it was given to me. If I wNt to go out, she will give me permission to go. Maybe the only thing that is hard to give is her love.

With 2 guards and a carriage driver we set off.

The town is really noisy. It's bustling with people doing their own business.
I hate noisy places but sometimes I think I might be deaf from the quietness of the palace I lived in.
Sometimes, even though you hate it, you can miss it.

"Is that an adventurer's guild?"

"Yes, Princess. Alot of different people register as an adventurer. They might be hired people but they do help in maintaining the kingdom safe from beast attacks." Seraphine said.

"Oh. Your father is a former Adventurer right."

"Yes. He retired when a black Bear disabled his left arm. Sadly, my father is a magic archer so it is very hard for him to accept when he lost the ability to draw his bow again." Seraphine looks down and sigh.

"So that is what happened. But it is just limbs. Can't you ask a sage to reconnect it?"

Seraphine laughs.
"Princess, you really am funny. How can a limb be reconnect once it was severed? If a Sage can do it, we still can't ask someone important as that. Impossible. Impossible." Seraphine laughs again.

I didn't say anything and just look outside the carriage.
Reconnecting severed hand is a piece of cake. Regrowing limbs are more harder but it is not something to talk about. Means it is not that much of a problem either.
Since You are good to me. When I grow up and be able to leave the palace on my own, I will surely treat your dad.

"Seraphine, is that who I think she was?"

"Lady Cecil, this is princess Bridget. We are here to get the dress we order."

"Princess, it is so good so see you again. Oh where is my manners. Please sit."

"Oh it is fine we just come to get---"

Bridget sit down and ask the maid nearby for a type of ordinary tea.

The maid go out to get it.

Seraphine smiles and sit down.
"Princess likes this place?"

Bridget looks outside. The vast sky in blue, red and orange fighting fiercely in a beautiful canvass.

"Let's watch the sunsets here. You don't mind, Lady Cecil?"

Lady Cecil is a merchant's daughter but recently she was engage with a Viscount.

"Of course not. You can watch it here. I will also ask for some pastries."

Cecil left.
Seraphine enjoys looking at the sky without saying anything.

The maid went back with the teas and pastries and excuse Cecil that she has something that came up.
It is dark when they left.
Lady Cecil shows them the way.

"Sorry if I haven't had the time to spend more time with the princess." Cecil smiles kindly.

"Yes. Thank you again for the sweet treats and you don't really have to force yourself so much. If it can't be done earlier just says so. Maybe Princess Aqua is a bit moody but that is just the way she was."

Cecil twitch and nods thanking Bridget again.

"Princess, I don't get it. What is about Princess Aqua?" Seraphine.

"The dress we order is not yet done. I heard from the employees that Princess Aqua cause trouble in their shop. She doesn't want anymore bad rumor coming from the palace so she didn't say anything when our order is not yet done. They try to stall time to finish it."

"That happens? Princess Aqua is 2nd Queen's eldest daughter. She is very unreasonable indeed."

"Shh..You have no right to slander any royal family."

"I-I'm sorry, princess."

"Seraphine, you know that in the palace, I have no power. If they ask me to give you to them to punish I will have to gladly do that with a smile and without hesitation. Let us avoid making trouble so we don't have to get to that point."

"I'm very sorry, Princess."

"Sigh. Let's wish that we can stay in our little palace a bit more quieter and longer. Peace is good."

"Ahahahah. You always sounds lazy when you say that." Seraphine giggles.

"Hmmm."

That night, a chubby cute silver haired child invade their palace.

The moment the child step inside the barrier, bridget are already planning a counter strike.

She decided to secretly meets the intruder.

"What are you doing in my palace, Prince Alfonso?"

"Kwiik! Ah! Ah..." the child is like a silver haired squirrel looking at her with pleading eyes.

"Where are your attendants?"

Alfonso shakes his head and look down.
"Sis...ter?"

"Yes. I am your sister."

"I want chu met...Chu don't visit me."

"If so you know. I am forbidden to met Prince Alfonso as per mother, the fouth Queen's strict order."

"What? Why?"

"Cause, borrowing everyone's choice of word, I am a trash."

"What chu mean? Whats a trash?"

"It means something unwanted, useless and unneeded."

"But...chu...chu me...A sister is needed."

"Oh. Are you feeling lonely?"

Alfonso nods.

"But if mother found out you come to me. Instead of you, I will be punished."

"Hah!"

"Hmm. But I see. As your older sister, I should be kind to you by law."

"What's that means?"

"It means it is a requirement to be a sister. Being kind and protecting the young and weak."

"I'm not weak. I can use fire and ice!Mother said I am stronger than older brothers."

"Hmm. She is brainwashing you at early age. It is very clever strategy."

"I am strong?"

"No. You will grow up as a stupid self centered idiot! The clueless one. The most irritating kind of idiot."
