The KQ building towered in front of me. I had settled in at my apartment already and was now about to walk into the place I would be working at for the next couple of months.

When I walked in, I went to the front desk. I showed the receptionist my ID and she called someone to escort me to a different room. I was taken to a conference room where a man with a black suit and silver tie was waiting. He smiled kindly at me.

"Hello (y/n). Would you have a seat?" He said.

I sat down politely and he spoke again, introducing himself. "I am Kim Kyu Wook, the founder of KQ Entertainment. I'm here to make sure you are comfortable here and will comply with our guidelines."

Realizing who this man is, I immediately felt a little intimidated. "Oh! Wow, it is an honor to meet you. Thank you for meeting with me," I replied.

"Of course. I need to make sure this experience will go smoothly for you and our crew. As it is a fairly new program, there is a lot that could go wrong. I have seen that you have filled out our forms, which hopefully you answered honestly?"

"Yes sir."

"Good to hear. And did you read our contract thoroughly that you will be signing momentarily?"

"Yes, I did."

"Fantastic. Before you sign, I will briefly go over some of the rules with you to make sure you fully understand. You cannot take videos or pictures of Ateez unless instructed to do so. Posting videos or pictures of Ateez on social media is especially prohibited. You also may not take pictures or videos of the interior of our practice rooms. These rooms will be available to you during certain periods of each day. The time slots are listed here in the contract. You may not enter these areas during a time which is not assigned to you. Lunch will be provided to you and it is optional if you want to eat with the music video production crew. Otherwise, you may eat on your own around town, but you may not eat any meals with Ateez. Lastly, please be respectful of our crew and of Ateez. There will be no rude or inappropriate comments made. This includes insulting and sexualizing behavior. Furthermore, inappropriate physical contact or harassment of any sort is strictly prohibited. Any violation of these rules will result in a termination of your internship and you will be sent home. Is all this understood?"

"Yes sir."

"Alright then sign here."

I signed my name and he took the contract.

"Next up, here is your schedule for the week. Each week you will get a new schedule that you must follow. There are some times of the day where you have some flexibility. This is called your "recreational time." Please treat it like a privilege that can be easily taken away if you cause trouble."

I nodded my head, taking in the information and putting my schedule in my purse. Then Mr. Kim's facial expression brightened and he said, "So... are you ready to meet Ateez?"

Hearing those words came as a shock and my heart started pounding in my chest. "R-Right now??" I asked nervously.

"Yes, right now," he replied smiling.

I smiled back and nodded eagerly. Then Mr. Kim phoned an employee to escort me. Before I left, I bowed politely and thanked Mr. Kim. He nodded and waved goodbye.

I was taken to a large room which appeared to be a dance practice room. As soon as the door opened and I stepped in, all of Ateez stood together and said "Eight makes one team! Hello, we are ATEEZ!" I smiled and waved, feeling shy all of a sudden.

Hongjoong, the leader, stepped forward and asked "You're (y/n), right?"

"Yes, that's me," I replied.
