Exceptionally Beautiful

"Well I'm glad you like it," I said to Yeosang who was standing in front of me holding Honey Butter Chips.

Then his facial expression became one of concern and he asked, "What have you been doing all day?" 

"I was helping to finish the music video. We were able to complete it today."

"Ahh, that's great!"

"Yeah! I'm so excited for it to be released."

I talked to some of the other members for a bit and then realized I needed to leave for my conclusion meeting.

I apologized to everyone for the briefness of my visit and left the room.

At the meeting, we all discussed the preparations for the shooting of the next music video. It was revealed that it would be shot in the Hwanseongul Cave. The challenge would be overcoming the darkness of the environment.

Not a lot of details were discussed, but I was thrilled because I was invited to come along on the trip and observe the music video shooting. Until then, I would be witnessing the creative process of planning for the video.

The next day, I felt nice and refreshed. Hopefully since my workload has lightened significantly, I would be able to spend more time with Ateez, making up for having only spent a few minutes with them yesterday. I was beginning to feel like I was a friend to them, which was a great feeling.

After lunch, I came across Hongjoong who was returning to his practice room with an ice cream bar in hand.

"Hi, (y/n)!" He said to me, stopping in his tracks. I stopped walking too and turned to face him.

"Hey! What's up?" I asked with a smile.

"Just grabbing a desert before I resume practicing. Want to join me?"

"Sure."

We then walked together to the small practice room. We entered and sat in chairs.

"So... do you think Yeosang had a good birthday yesterday?" I asked Hongjoong as he was opening his ice cream. 

"Yeah, I think so. We ate lots of chicken for lunch, which you probably know is his favorite food. We also did a V Live during lunch, so we could celebrate with Atiny. Then later we took a picture of Yeosang with his subway station birthday ad, and we watched him open more presents... So I think he's happy."

"That's good. I'm glad."

"Me too. So how are you doing lately?"

"I'm doing well! I've had an amazing time working here so far, and I can't believe I get to spend most of my summer here with you guys. It still feels surreal."

"Haha... well it's our pleasure. It's nice having you around," Hongjoong replied with a tilt of his head.

"Awe thanks..." I said, knowing I was probably a blushing mess. "I feel like... I'm a friend to you and the others."

"Yeah, I agree with that."

We smiled at each other and then Hongjoong spoke again. "So (y/n)... just out of curiosity, what was the first Ateez music video you ever watched?"

"I believe it was 'Answer'"

"Ah, that's cool."

"Yes, it's absolutely beautiful."

"Did you have a favorite part of the video?"

"Umm... well I liked it all, haha... It's hard to choose a favorite part. It's just so visually appealing, and the choreography is incredible."
