Leya's POV:
"Mom?" I repeat, voice cracking. She had never come to me before... I haven't seen her since she passed.
"Leya," she smiles, long white gown flowing in some non existent wind. She kneels next to Silas. "Your friend....he is hurt."
"Yes, he is. You remember him? His father used to run the stables. Silas Tierro is his name. How do I help him?" I ramble to her about what happened and how Harum seems to think I can help.
"He is very wise," she says softly. "You do have the power, Leya. You may resent it, as because of it you cannot shift into the dragon you knew I was, but you will learn to appreciate it, to master it. You are strong....but not the strength you desire. The Rykor boy," she gestures to Rykor, whose face is frozen in a grimace, "he needs your power. He will soon face unimaginable pain. Together, you will be successful leaders. You are brave, and selfless, to look past yourself and marry when your heart lies," her eyes land on Harum's frozen scowl, "elsewhere."
"Mom...I can't....not now....will I see you again?"
"You will see me when you need me, but not before. Until then, know that I am with you, the power that is in you was once in me. This alliance is important, the wedding imperative. Trust those closest to you, but always be wary. Not everything is the way it seems," she looks at your body, laying in the grass. "Anna has been through much, she now knows more than she should. The information she gives must be used to your benefit, or I fear this week may be your last." She smiles.
"I must leave now—-but let it be known that I bestow upon you the power of Equus, the purification and healing of olden days. Nech je to tak, ako to bolo kedysi." Her eyes flash silver and she disappears. Everyone unfreezes.
A/N: Sorry this is a short one, but Leya being able to heal is a pretty darn important so I just wanted a little emphasis I guess:/
