𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧.

Friday April 17th, 2020

Today Mani and I decided to
finally leave the house and go
somewhere. We've both been craving
adventure, so I suggested we take
a cute little road trip somewhere.

Before I could even suggest
where we should go, Mani already
told me she had an idea of where
she wanted to take me! So of course
instead of trying to argue against
her, I just went along with it.
She could have her little surprise,
meanwhile I had a little surprise
of my own afterwards.

I have to admit, it's pretty weird
wearing my regular clothes. My jeans
probably thought I abandoned them
for my Nike sweatpants, that I
wear around the house often.

Once we were both dressed and
ready to go, we got into Mani's
jeep and started on our way to
the mysterious location.
After about forty-five minutes
of driving we seemed to be
nearing our destination, in
which Mani shut off her maps app
so the surprise wouldn't be spoiled.

When we arrived I noticed a
sign that read 'Sunflower Field'.
I started squealingand kicking in
my seat as soon as I aaw that;
I couldn't believe Mani remembered
a detail so small. My favorite flowers
are sunflowers, and I never got
to experience any up close and
personal like this!

After about two hours of being
in the field, taking pictures, picking
sunflowers to create a bouquet,
and watching the subnset — we decided
to make our way to home. But of
course we had to stop and get us
some dinner on the way there.

Then after eating dinner, I somehow
convinced Mani to go take a shower
while I sneakily set up the garage
for her surprise. I wanted to make
the garage into a "Drive-In Movie"
like atmosphere; so I put the back
seats of her jeep down, laid a couple
pillows and blankets down, added
some string fairy lights, and
set up my projector so it was showing
on the plain white garage wall.

When Mani finally got out of the
shower, I went to take a quick
shower as well. Once I was out of
the shower and in my pajamas,
I announced to Mani to get some
of her favorite snacks and meet me
in the garage in two minutes.
