As soon as Mani went to the bathroom
to take a shower, I quickly put on a
pair of baby blue boy shorts and an
orange oversized You Matter
sweatshirt. I, then got Jalissa so
she could help me set up a surprise
date night.

As Lissa dished out our plates
of fettuccini alfredo, that I cooked;
I set up my room so the LED lights
were pink. I then put up my projector
on a plain wall, and left the Netflix
menu up.

Then I spread white
rose petals all over the floor
and bed, before taking my white
canopy down to finish off the
mood.

Once Lissa and I heard Mani
turn the shower off, we quickly
scrambled to get the two plates of
food and glasses of red wine.
We set them on my fancy
looking wooden tray, so we
can have dinner in bed.

As soon as Mani walked out of the
bathroom; I watched her mouth
fall agape, seeing how the room
hadn't just appeared this way when
she went to shower.
