"So, wait. Sage invited you to the Bachelorette Party?"

It was Thursday, a couple days before the Bachelor Party and Yasmin and I both had some free time on our hands. Yasmin had insisted that the two of us go out to our nearest Home Goods and do some furniture shopping. Our house had a decent amount of room—five bedrooms, six baths, and an extensive basement. Majority of the time, the house felt empty with just the two of us in it. Many people questioned why I had decided to buy a house that big but at the time I was honestly expecting my mom, Dominic, and Tanisha to spending a lot more time in Los Angeles. The house was set up perfectly so that everyone got their own room—my mom and Dominic in one, Tanisha in hers, and even Katya had a nice little room to herself for whenever she decided to grow out of sleeping in the bed with her mama. There was an extra bedroom that no one really used that often and Yasmin thought it was going to complete waste. I'm sure she had intended for the room to one day serve for a kid of our own, but for right now she was turning it into her beauty room.

So, here we were at Home Goods browsing around at the various furniture pieces she could add to the room.

"Yeah. It seemed pretty...genuine. You know I'm good at sensing bad energy and I wasn't getting all that from her. I think I'm going to go, it should be fun." Yasmin continued with a shrug.

When Yasmin first brought up Sage's name, I was nervous that it was going to be her cussing me out about me not telling her about hanging with Sage this weekend. I had every intention to tell Yasmin myself, but I had just been too caught up with other things to get the chance. I kept Yasmin and Sage far away from each other for a reason and it just seemed a little too convenient that now Sage wants to play friendly with Yasmin.

"Why are you so adamant about being apart of this wedding party?" I questioned, grabbing one of the candles off the shelf to smell. Yasmin paused what she was doing, turning around to give me a mean mug. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" She questioned. I rose my hands in defense, urging her to relax. "No, what is that supposed to mean? I'm not forcing myself to be anywhere where I'm not invited. If Sage hadn't invited me, best believe I'd be sitting my ass at home. I didn't even push for you to invite me to your little party even though I know the only reason you don't want me there is because you think I'm going to stop your pimping." Yasmin ranted. I rolled my eyes, not even taking her seriously. "Well, I don't even think you going is a good idea. You're not even close to them like that." I continued. At this point, I was really just looking for an excuse. Who knew what would happen at this party? Sure, Sage could be mature but that didn't mean that everyone else could be.

Yasmin shook her head. "I don't know what the issue is lately, but you've been on some other shit." Yasmin finished.

"Me?" I questioned. I didn't want to be that couple that argued in the middle of the store, but Yasmin was not about to flip this on me like I was the one that changed. "I've been the same exact person. You're the one that's changed. Ever since the wedding got closer you've been so obsessed about a title, and a family, and things I already promised you would be happening later on in the future. I can't do anything nice anymore without you think it's a potential engagement. At this point, I don't know if you're more jealous of Sage or Adele."
