This story begins with a cat. Not a outdoor cat or a cuddly lap cat, this is a white cat who likes to scratch his neck and ends up at the vets too often. Now this cat wasn't special to the world but he was special to his owners, Beth and Sean. This story doesn't begin with Beth and Sean as they did not meet the special cat until he was five years old. Actually he was four but the RSPCA said five because his birthday was so close.

We all understand all cats are special no matter what. The Egyptians used to worship them and for most people, they have grown up with kittens, black cats, tabby cats and elderly cats. The first heartbreak for a child is when their cat dies and they beg their mum for a new kitten.

It is not even just house cats that we love. People will travel miles and miles just to see tigers and lions at the zoo!

All animals should be forever, if you get an animal then that animal should be with you until they die. No new babies, no new house, no new excuse. We have heard them all before. However if you really must give up your pet, make sure you take them to an animal charity.

Cats are in our hearts and always will be, Bailey will always be in Beth's heart.
