"Hey baby, did you pack everything for tomorrow" he said referring to their honeymoon trip that was the next day.

After Nicki's encounter with Drake her mind was everywhere. It wasn't their first time kissing but it felt so different. She was conflicted and she felt like she was lying to herself about how her heart really felt. She knew she had to brush it off and stop thinking about it though before her husband suspected anything.

"Yeah. Yeah everything's packed and the driver will be here in the morning" she said very distantly

"Everything okay?" she shook her head at his response. "Hey listen everything will go fine on the trip if that's what you're worried about. You know your baby has got everything handled" he said and leaned down to kiss her.

"Everything handled but I'm paying for everything..." she giggled to herself about the mean but truthful thought.

Later that night Nicki decided to do a little more last minute packing for her trip.

She stopped what she was doing when she got a notification on her phone.

Was all the text said. And she knew for a fact that it was him.

She put on her Chanel slippers and tried to make the least noise to not wake up Kenny.

He was outside sitting in his Mercedes-AMG, knowing that she was going to come outside even if she didn't text back.

She hurried and made it inside his car since it was pouring outside.

"I don't have all night, so hurry up and speak" she said clearly annoyed.

But this was one person that could read through her. He knew that she was happy to see her rather she admitted it or not.

"Can I take you out? You don't have to say yes I just wanted to take you somewhere before you officially become a wife" he giggled

She flashed him her ring "I am already a wife nigga."

"Then why don't you act like one?" He said knowing it would get under her skin. She gave him a death stare.

"Do you want me to say yes? Because you aren't fucking acting like it"

"Nick, I'm just playing and you know that."

She sat back and buckled her seat and crossed her arms indicating that she was saying "yes".

They drove the city with music playing and the windows down. It was just like old times.

He looked over and seen her dimpled smile while just enjoying the LA breeze.

"This is the way it's supposed to be" he thought to himself.

When they finally arrived at their destination he took her hand in his and kissed it. She blushed knowing in the back of her mind that this was all wrong but it just felt too right. She decided to just let her self enjoy this moment because she wasn't sure if they'd ever have it another one like it.

They took the elevator to a fancy restaurant all the way on the top of a penthouse in the middle of the city. The view was amazing.

"If I knew that we were going out like this I would've put on something better" she said referring to her rushed outfit

"You're literally THE nicki minaj, you look fine all the time" he whispered in her ear. She felt the hairs from the back of her head rise at his actions. She loved being this close to him.
