My Foolish Empress

Chapter 9

Emperor POV

I finally manage to weed the obstacle.

I was happy i finally have time to leisure. I decide to visit my son which currently been living together with the empress according the maid report.

Arrival at the courtyard door, i stopped my eunuch to announce my arrival. I was greeted by the scene of my empress and my son gardening, the imperial guard tasked to protect my son and the maid eating leisurely.

Seeing me, they instantly freeze in fear. Standing like statue. Unfortunately, my empress and son oblivious with my arrival. Only when they bumped into me, they finally realise my existence.

"Your majesty, i didnt know your majesty come to visit... " The empress greeted me.

He still has the embrassed look on him

"Father, are you finally have time to accompany me?... " My son said with sneer undertone.

I'm curious where did he learn to speak such way. He barely 5 years old but he spoke like an adult.

"Your majesty i made some light snack to enjoy... " The empress said as he pulled me toward the outside set of table.

He sat next to me while my son seated next to him. I can feel my son glaring at me, which i ignored.

"Try it...Xiao Yi said it taste delicious... even the guard and the maid also like it... " He urge me to eat the biscuit.

"Mom, i want to eat too... " I heard my son voice.

He suddenly acting like a child.

The empress currently no longer harrassing me to eat but feeding my son to eat. Seeing him hand feed my son, i feel envious toward him. I feel strange why i get envious my empress giving attention toward my son eventhough i dont have special feeling toward him. I only keep him because i need someone to fill in the empress seat until i found the right one.

Before i know it, i accidentally pulled his hand toward me and eat the biscuit from his finger. He was shocked by my action and his face turned more red. I sneer with my son reaction.

End Emperor POV

I shock when seeing the emperor come to visit. I felt embrassed of letting him see me in such inappropriate state.

My son however completely hostile toward his own father. Not just his father, everyone got close to me also he being hostile toward them. He should learn to be nice with everyone, i dismiss such taught.

I drag the emperor to try out my another handmade biscuit recipe. I urge him to eat, he seem to refusing to eat. I feel bit sad. Yet, hearing my son wish to eat the biscuit, i sprang back being happy and feed him the biscuit.

I was stunned when the next biscuit i suppose to give to my son end up in his majesty mouth. I can feel his majesty tongue licking between my finger. I instantly turn red from embrassment.

Imperial guard POV

Seeing the emperor got jealous over his own son, we realise for foolish empress he manage to get two most powerful being become fool for him and yet the empress completely oblivious of it. We silently laugh.

The emperor might yet have realise he fallen for the empress but he become more possesive toward him. The crown prince however obvious his possessive nature toward the empress. We guess our survival depending on the empress.

Relaxing when we suppose in duty, we should receive harsh punishment yet here we manage to avoid punishment due the existence of empress. We silently thanked and pitied the empress.

End Imperial guard POV

I just wish to have peaceful night sleep yet here my son and the emperor having glare duel in which of them can sleep next to me. I just dont understand why we all cant just share the bed together.

It already late night, they still in glare duel. I already feeling sleepy.

"The bed plenty space for 3 person... " I said yet ignored by them.

If both of them determine to sleep on the bed, i guess i just have to give up my position and let them both sleep in the bed. I pulled some thick blanket and lie on the floor to sleep.

"I will sleep on the floor so both of you dont have to fight anymore... " I told them before drifting into darkness.

Son POV

The plan to chase father away so i can sleep together with mother end up failure when mother decide to sleep on the floor while both father and me on the bed.

I end up compromise with father and decide to share the bed. We sleep in each side edge of the bed while mother sleeping in the middle.

Mother look peaceful as he sleep. I gave him a goodnight kiss on his forehead before cuddling close into his arm. I saw father did the same only he give deep kiss on mother lips with a sneer plasted on his face. I give him glare as reply.

End Son POV

I woke up feeling constricted in both side. I was suprise i was no longer sleep on the floor but on the bed with both of my hand being held by my son on the left side and the emperor on thr right side. The grief grew tighter each time i try to wriggle myself to free.

"Xiao Yi... wake up... You going to be late for school... " I coax him to wake up.

"Your majesty... You going to be late for affair meeting... " I urge the emperor to wake up.

I was suprise when both of them ask for a wake up kiss or we will remain in same position until noon. Defeated, i end up giving both a wake up kiss on their cheek.

Xioa Yi already left for his school yet i find the emperor still sitting on the table enjoying his meal leisurely. I was confuse, wasnt he busy with his meeting.

"There wont be a meeting today... " He replied as if he read my taught.

I was secretly happy by the reply. It means he and i have time to be together.
