Meeting Willy Wonka

Charlie's POV
Me and Grandpa Joe were standing in front of the gates with the rest of the contestants but I could help but notice that the really sweet girl wasn't here yet.
Libby: "mom !!! Hurry up we will be late" she said while laughing. The girl and her mother came and stood beside me and Grandpa Joe, I couldn't help but smile with the fact she was stood beside me.

Veruca: "DADDY!! I want to go in !!"
Mr Salt: "it's 9:59 sweetheart" he said peering at his watch.
Veruca Salt: "make time go faster !!"

Charlie: "do you think Mr Wonka will remember you ?"
Grandpa Joe: "it's hard to say... it's been years"

Mrs Robinson: "Libby, remember to be kind to all the kids and parents. Make a good impression for Mr Wonka!!"
Libby: "of course mother, kindness is key"

Augustus gloop was just stuffing his face with chocolate while his mom stared at the factory.

Mrs Beauregarde: "eyes on the prize violet, eyes on the prize" all the girl did was nod and keep on chewing her gum. The last two, the Teavee's just stood there both looking like they didn't want to be there at all. Then the gates started to open and I started to get excited. A voice started talking.
"Please enter" All the winners stepped in. "Come forward" all of us started walking in and while we were walking the voice carried on speaking. "Close the gates" the gates closed and we all carried on walking forward. "Dear guests, it is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to my humble factory. Who am I ? Well..." then something what seemed like doors opened to reveal a red curtain.

Everyone looked around confused, including me and Grandpa Joe. Then we heard some clapping so everyone diverted there gaze to a man who was dressed in a very smart way with a top hat and a funny hair cut.
Willy: "wasn't that just magnificent !? I was getting worried a bit in that middle part, but that finale...WOW" he then walked onto the platform and started smiling at us, it was VERY awkward.

Violet: "who are you ?"
Grandpa Joe: "he's Willy Wonka !!"
I looked at Grandpa Joe.
Charlie: "really ?"
There was an awkward silence, again.
Willy: "good morning starshine !! The earth says hello!!" He said that was followed by another awkward silence. He then pulled out some cue cards and read off them. "Dear guests, greetings !! Welcome to the factory, I shake you warmly by the hand" he then sticks his hand out, no one went to shake his hands but then the kind girl stepped forward smiling and shook his hand.
Libby: "it's very nice to meet you sir" Mr Wonka smiled at her and she walked back to where she was originally standing.
Willy: "I'm willy wonka"
Veruca: "then shouldn't you be up there ?" She asked while pointing at the throne.
Willy: "well I couldn't very well watch the show from up there now, could I little girl ?" He smiled. My Grandpa Joe then took a step towards Mr Wonka.
Grandpa Joe: "Mr Wonka, I don't know if you remember me but I used to work here in the factory"
Willy: "were you one of those despicable spies who everyday tried to steal my life's work and sell it to those copy cat candy making cads"
Grandpa Joe: "no sir"
Willy: "then wonderful, welcome back !! Let's get a move on kids" He then walked into the factory and we all followed him.
Augustus: "don't you want to know our names?"
Willy: "I can't imagine how it would matter, come quickly !! There is far to much to see." The doors then closed and we walked into a hallway. "Just dope your coats anywhere" everyone took there coats off and put them on the ground.

Mr Teavee: "Mr Wonka it sure is toasty in here" Mr Wonka turned around and looked at him
Willy: "what?... oh yeah I have to keep it warm in here cause my workers are used to an extremely hot climate, they just can't stand the cold"
Charlie: "who are the workers?"                                                                                                                            Willy: "all in good time. Now" he starts leading us down the corridor when the gum chewer hugs him, he then gasps either in shock or because he doesn't want to be touched. She then let's go of him and looks at him.

Violet: "Mr Wonka, I'm Violet Beauregarde" he the S looks back at her
Willy: "oh... I don't care" we all start walking again.
Violet: "well you should care because I'm the girl who's going to win the special prize at the end"
Willy: "well you do seem confident and confidence is key" Violet then turns to her mother and smiles at her. The rich girl then steps in front of him stopping us from walking again.
Veruca: "I'm Veruca Salt, it's very nice to meet you sir" she says and curtsies at him.
Willy: "I always though a Veruca was a type of wart that grew at the bottom of your foot, HA" Veruca stops smiling and gives him a small glare, then as Grandpa George would say the 'porker' steps in front of him.
Augustus: "I'm Augustus gloop, I love your chocolate" he says while taking another bite of his chocolate bar, Mr Wonka just looks at him disgusted but quickly covers it up with a fake smile.
Willy: "I can see that, so do I. I never expected to have so much in common" he says, the sarcasm rolling off his tongue. He starts to walk again but then quickly stop and turns around.
Willy: "you, your Mike Teavee. Your the little devil that cracked the system" he said looking at Mike, he then turned to the other girl, the one I couldn't help but feel nervous around. "You, your Libby Robinson. Your the girl who wouldn't hurt a fly." Libby just smiled at him and then he finally turned to me. "And you, well your just lucky to be here aren't you ?" He then looked at the parents. "And the rest of you must be there P..... P... hmmm"
Mr Salt: "parents"
Willy: "yeah, moms and dads" he says while laughing nervously. He then stares into space. "Dad.... papa" he then looks at all of us "ok then... let's move along" he then smiles and turns around. He starts walking and we all follow him. Libby quickly walks over to me.
Libby: "hey, do you want to be friends?" She said while smiling, I smiled back.
Charlie: "sure" she smiles and holds her hand out for me to take. I got bright red and take her hand while smiling like an idiot. Augustus then comes over to us.
Augustus: "would you like some chocolate?"
Charlie: "sure"
Augustus: "then you should of brought some" I put my head down because I knew that I couldn't of anyway.
Libby: "hey !! Don't be so mean to him" she frowns at him. "Sharing is caring" Augustus then breaks off a tiny bit of his chocolate and hands it to me.
Charlie: "thanks" I say while smiling and he just walks off.

Veruca and Violet are walking together.
Veruca: "lets be friends"
Violet: "best friends" they hook arms and smile at each other but it wasn't a real smile. As soon as they looked away they stopped smiling.

As we were walking the ceiling became lower and lower until we finally reached a tiny door. Mr Wonka then turned around and looked at us while taking out some keys.
Willy: "Important room this, after all it is a chocolate factory"
Mike: "then why is the door so small ?"
Willy: "it's to keep all the big great big chocolatey flavour inside, hehe" he then bends down and unlocks the door. He looks at us and then at the door and puts his hand on the door, opening it...
