"Okay, girl. It's time," said Alya, elbowing Marinette's side. They were standing in front of their school a few feet away from Adrien and Nino, and they had a plan. Alya was going to distract Nino and leave Marinette and Adrien alone so that Marinette could confess her feelings to Adrien.

"Is it too late to back out now?" Marinette asked. She was nervous that something bad was going to happen.

"Yes, now let's go!" Alya pulled Marinette with her to the boys. "Hey Nino. Hi Adrien."

"Hello girls," the boys greeted.

"Nino, I was wondering if you could help me with some schoolwork. Please?" Alya asked and Nino nodded. Sending a wink to Marinette, Alya followed Nino into the school, leaving Marinette alone with Adrien. Phase one, check. Now for phase two, tell him about her feelings. But it was easier said than done.

"What's up, Marinette?" Adrien asked pulling her out of her thoughts.

"O-oh, um, I-I wanna talk, I mean, tell you something," she stammered. Adrien nodded, encouraging her to continue. Marinette took a deep breath and thought of the speech that she had memorized and practiced with Alya the night before. Marinette opened her mouth to continue when there was a loud bang.

Adrien and Marinette turned towards the sound. It was coming from the Eiffel Tower.

"Um, we can talk later, but I have to use the restroom now," Adrien lied. He took off towards the restroom and made sure that no one else was in there. Then he opened his jacket to let Plagg, his kwami, out.

"Someone has been akumatized. Plagg, claws out!" Adrien transformed into his leather cat suit with his ears and black mask on.

Meanwhile, Marinette hid behind a pillar as Tikki, her kwami, flew out of Marinette's purse.

"Ugh, Hawkmoth has bad timing. I was about to ask Adrien out," Marinette whined. There was another loud bang. Marinette looked around her to make sure no one was watching. "Duty calls. Tikki, spots on!"

Marinette transformed into her red leather ladybug suit with her red and black mask. Then her yo-yo appeared on her waist. She threw it and caught a building and swung from rooftop to rooftop. Until she landed a block away from Eiffel Tower.

There in front of the tower was Gigantitan. The giant toddler was playing with the cars like they were toy cars.

"I wonder what it was this time," the smooth, feline voice said from behind her. Ladybug turned around and saw Chat Noir. "Maybe he just needs a little love."

He was talking about the toddler, but was looking at her with his pricing emerald eyes. It seemed like he was talking about someone else besides the baby.

Ladybug thought about a plan and then got an idea. "Lucky Charm!"

She threw her yo-yo up into the air and a blanket and baby bottle appeared.

"Oh, good. I could use a nap," Chat said smirking at Ladybug. "Maybe you could join me."

Chat winked at Ladybug and she just rolled her eyes. Then she got an idea.

"Good idea, Chat!" She exclaimed as she gave him a hug.

"Wh-what?" Did she really want to take a nap with me? He thought.

"Yeah, if we could get him to go to sleep, we'll be able to get his akuma."

Chat's ear laid back in annoyance. It's okay, he thought, she'll love me one day.

"Bye, bye little butterfly," Ladybug said waving bye to the now purified butterfly as she watched it fly away. Then she tossed the bottle and blanket in the air. "Miraculous ladybug!"

After everything was restored, she walked over to Chat Noir who was holding the now sleeping toddler. He looked at her and smiled and then looked at the child still smiling.

"Who knew you were such a natural with children?" Ladybug said while playfully poking his arm.

"What can I say," he replied shrugging. Then he leaned his face closer Ladybug's face. "Just wait till you see me holding our children," he said winking at her.

"Silly kitty," she giggled pushing his face away from hers, but she couldn't hold in the light blush that appeared on her cheeks. When Chat saw her blush, he smirked.

Ladybug's earrings beeped. They waved bye as Ladybug took off.

Marinette de-transformed in the school restroom just as the bell rang signifying the end of her first class. She stopped at her locker then headed to class.

She walked into the classroom and spotted Alya at their usual table, but Nino was in Marinette's seat. Alya noticed Marinette's confusion and pointed to the seat in front of her.

After Marinette sat down she asked, "why did we change seats?"

"It's only temporary, but we're working on group projects with a partner and Nino and I are partners," Alya said then she leaned down and whispered into Marinette's ear. "So you and Adrien can work together."

Marinette's face flushed with pink and she turned around as the bell rang. A couple of seconds later Adrien walked in and sat down.

"Why are our seats switched?" He asked quietly keeping his eyes on the teacher.

"We are working on a project with partners. Alya asked Nino to work with her," Marinette said as the teacher turned around. Once the teacher turned back to the board, she continued, "I was wondering if, um, you would like to work to-together?"

"Sure, sounds like fun. We can go to my house after school to start on the project, is that okay?" He asked.

"Y-yep, your perfect, I mean, your not perfect. I mean, you are perfect," she looked at him and her cheeks were beet red now. He smiled at her. She took a deep breath and looked away, "what I mean is, is that sounds good."

Adrien let out a soft chuckle. He found her stammering cute. Or when she looked at him with her big Bluebell eyes that he wished that he could stare into forever.

What was he thinking?! Marinette was just a friend. He already had his heart set on Ladybug. He shook his head and tried to clear his thoughts.
