(Y/N)'S P.O.V.
As the train ride continues, we all talk and get to know each other while stuffing our faces with sweets from the trolley. Ron sits next to Harry, and I sit across from them, resting my legs on the seat, leaning my back on the glass separating our compartment from the aisle of the train.
"Ron, pass me a licorice wand?" I request, extending my arm. He takes one from the pile of treats and hands it to me. I take it happily, and eat the the candy.
"Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans?" Harry asks, holding up the colourful box.
"They mean every flavour." Ron says, switching between the candies on his lap. "There's chocolate and peppermint, and there's also spinach, liver, and tripe."
Harry pops a bean into his mouth, and his face scrunches in disgust. I let out a soft giggle.
"George swore he got a bogey-flavoured one once." I tell him. He spits the bean into his hand and I smile with amusement.
I lean over and grab a jelly slug as Harry picks up a Chocolate Frog box.
"These aren't real frogs, are they?" Harry asks, sounding concerned.
"It's just a spell. Besides, it's the cards you want! Each packs got a famous witch or wizard." Ron tells him.
"Ron and I have this competition where we're always trying to collect more than the other." I say.
"I'm winning." He boasts, looking at me proudly. "I've got about five hundred myself."
"Whatever." I say, taking a bite from my jelly slug. He opens the box, and the frog leaps onto the window with a croak.
"Watch it!" Ron warns as the frog gets nearer to the opening. It jumps out, and disappears from our sight.
"Oh, that's rotten luck. They've only got one good jump in them to begin with." I say with a shrug.
"I got Dumbledore!" Harry says happily, staring at the card.
"I got about six of him." Ron brags.
"Ten for me!" I say, looking at Ron and sticking out my tongue. He does the same in a mocking way and I shake my head.
"Hey, he's gone!" Harry says with surprise.
"Well, he can't exactly hang around all day." I joke, taking one last bit of my jelly slug.
Scabbers, Ron's rat, begins to squeak from inside of a Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Bean box.
"This is Scabbers, by the way. Pathetic isn't he?" Ron says, looking to his Rat.
