Part IV

I am wearing my usual get up outfit while holding my phone on my right hand and silently praying for myself since I don't know what I am trying to enter. This may sounds creep but I want to know more about that guy and no matter what happens, pupuntahan at pupuntahan ko siya sa bahay nila. I thought with full of conviction and shoving all of my inhibitions inside my mind.

Madi, you still have a time to back out! I mentally shouted inside my mind again but my feet goes walking and walking to the empty street of Mayor Evangelista's Residence.

Bahala na. I murmured once more bago humarap sa gate ng isang malaking bahay.

I dialed his number but to no avail, no one is answering.

Oh my gosh, pa-bet naman masyado 'tong mga lalaking 'to. Yup! MGA. Like duh, I already knew na marami sila — I mean, he got many personas in one body. Ay ewan.

Isinilid ko ang phone ko sa sling bag na dala at naglakad papalapit sa gate. I banged it loudly, waiting for someone to open pero no one even tries to open the gate.

Is he at home? Raven knows I am coming so maybe he just stayed inside pero bakit walang nagbubukas?

I checked its fences and my mind shouts 'Omy' after scanning the tall gate and its respective fences next to it.

I got no choice but to wait for someone who will go out. I sat on the pavement near the gate and waited for him like maybe —30 minutes? 60? Two hours?!

Okay, that's it! I'm not going to slack here anymore! I stared on the gate for a while before looking for something to use para maka-akyat sa bakod ng bahay nila. Inakyat ko ang punong nasa gilid ng gate at dahan-dahang inilagay ang mga binti ko upang maka-upo sa hollow block. May nagsisiliparan pang mga ibon mula sa puno at kinabahan naman ako bigla.

Parang horror movies lang.

I positioned myself first para hindi mahulog. I removed my sling bag on my shoulder para less hassle. I am about to jump when I saw something below the fence na agad ikinakaba ko. Okay, Madi. Look what you have here, a big Siberian Husky.

The dog looked at me first and growls like he wants to eat me alive and I thought of the best way para umalis ito. I shooed it away but the dog is really persistent to eat me. Damn.

I sighed and inhaled. I hope this will work. I am crossing my fingers before I closed my eyes and shouts, "Veronico Manuel!!"

Natutop ko agad ang bibig ko dahil sa pangalang binanggit! Anak ng kwago ka Madison, sa lahat-lahat ng pangalang maari mong  banggitin, 'yong mahaderong babaero pa!

"What the hell was that?! Who call—" I saw him get out and he even scanned the place and saw me above the fence. I saw him bulging his eyes at napahilamos ng mukha.

"Holy shit! Miss are you trying to attempt a suicide case in my house?!"

"NO! I mean, I want to talk to you but you didn't go outside so I planned on entering your premises thru climbing your fence. But I was shocked when that dog is waiting for me as if he's going to have a wonderful dinner!"

He shook his head and called the dog then he went below me.

"C'mon! Jump! I got you," he grinned and wink afterwards.

I rolled my eyes and duh? As if I have a choice? Alangan namang tumalon ako dito mag-isa tapos ano? Sira mukha ko ganon?

He stretched out his hand as if he's going to catch for something and without a second thought, I let myself fall and I just realized that the ground caught me up and my bones seems broken. Wtf?!

Nilingon ko agad ang lalaking ansama kung makatingin sa akin.

"What is this?! Why am I here? I thought I'm doing my experiment? And..." he was looking at me from my head to my toes and he raised his brows.

Tiningnan ko ang sarili ko and my sando's hem is already on my chest part, exposing my pink lacy bra. And my position is so weird as fuck!

"Miss, I am a scientist, I didn't experience getting laid. And all I care is my random experiments. If you think you can seduce me but sorry, I prefer to masturbate than entering your—"

"HEY! SHUT UP! IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS!" I guiltily shouted, "I-i fell from that fence—"

"Whatever, my science is more important than your explanation."

He turned his back away and I immediately stand myself up never minding the pains on my back. Ugh.

Paika-ika akong naka-sunod sa kanya and asked him a question to ease the awkwardness I feel.

"What is your name?"

"Nicholas." he answered without giving me a glance and he entered a room filled with—woah.

I see potions, machines, skeletons, five cubicles, a hanging electromagnetic spectrum and I even saw a boiling blood from a hot thermometer! Damn, what is this?!

"Sit down." I saw him pulling out a chair with a box on his hand.

"Where does it hurts?"

"H-huh?"

He just shook his head at inilihis ang sando ko.

"H-hey!"

"Stay still. Don't act as if I'm going to rape you. My sperms are too expensive for you"

I felt my blood gushed over my face and I swear, ang init ng mukha ko.

I watched him as he sitted on the floor, bowing his head.

"It's me.."

"Mayor Evengelista's son?"

He chuckled lightly and looked at me on the eye.

"Just Raven. Raven Evagelista."
