Lal Mirch was annoyed, no not annoyed she was apoplectic. The reason behind her irritation....... Iemitsu Sawada, her idiotic Sky. She couldn't believe she had harmonized with such an irritating idiot of all people in the world. Half the time she wanted to just strangle her idiot Sky to death. Ever since he came back from his mission with Vongola Nono a few months back he was being doubly annoying. She shared a look of commiseration with Oregano her fellow Storm element and proceeded to move ahead and slap her idiot Sky awake. He had stayed up late last night again talking to his wife then his son. He was an adorable tyke that little one and she felt for the child who was as exasperated with his sperm donor as she was.

Iemitsu whined, "Lallllllll, Whyyyyyyyyy?"

Lal, "Wake up you idiota! You still have paperwork to do and a meeting in two hours!"

Iemitsu, "But Lallllllll..... Do I need to go to the meeting? Why can't Nono just attend them!"

Lal slapped Iemitsu out of sheer annoyance, "Because it is your job to keep the boss safe as the head of CEDEF."

Lal Mirch remembered the first time she had seen the idiot at Mafia land, he was there for a meeting. She had felt a zing in her Flames when she noticed him but ignored it in favor of observing them. It didn't take long for things to deteriorate and fights started to occur. She had joined out of sheer boredom and that was when it had happened. Her Flames combined with his and it felt like coming home for the first time after being adrift for so long. Of course the feeling of amazement didn't last for long when she realized how annoying, incompetent and lazy the idiot was in reality. She wanted to shoot him so many times for all the headaches he caused her within that same day they had harmonized.

Colonello the annoying brat had laughed himself stupid and Lal had kicked his ass straight ways till Sunday. She would admit she was a bit reluctant to leave him and would have stayed behind if he hadn't encouraged her to go on ahead with him.

Flashback:

Colonello, "He's your Sky Lal! Go with him! Just because Luce betrayed us doesn't mean other Skies will as well!"

Lal, "I know that stupid student! Will you be alright with me gone though?"

Colonello, "Of course! Just because we're separating now doesn't mean we won't see each other again. You could always visit or I could visit instead!"

Lal, "Yeah! Guess there is that! Ugh! Why this idiot though? I'm dreading the headaches in the future!"

Colonello had laughed at her at that and she had spared with him in return. She doesn't regret following Iemitsu but...... She could do without all the extra headaches.

Flashback end!

Lal went back to her job and watched over the monitors while arranging the paperwork for Iemitsu to sign. The idiot had brought a child in the other day, and not just any child but the son of his late comrade. Who knew there would be someone crazy enough out there to name him their kid's Godfather! Lal rubbed her temple, at least the kid wasn't weak or soft, living in harsh conditions had toughened him up. Young Basil with the right training would make a fine addition to the CEDEF. She personally had decided to watch over his physical training, not trusting Iemitsu to get emotional and put it off.

He had become over bearing, too over bearing for the child to handle, especially after his wife had told him about the second pregnancy. He started to baby the youngest which flabbergasted and embarrassed Basil, but it wouldn't do, as hilarious as it was to watch him turn red. No, if he was to stay here he needs to be trained and Lal will be damned if anything happened to the youngest just because they couldn't bring him up to par with the others. She would leave the mother henning and coddling to Iemitsu and train the cub herself.

'Now I just need to get these paper signed and no one can contest against me and my third apprentice.' Lal thought walking towards the main office.

Lal slammed the door open, "Blonde idiota! Sign these!......... Stop bothering Basil! You look like a pedophile for sanity's sake!"

Iemitsu who was hugging Basil and nuzzling him, "But Lal my godson is so adorable. How can anyone resist?.... I can't wait to introduce him to Tsu-chan and my future twins! They'll get along splendidly!"

Lal who was having tick mark over her head, "Idiota! Sign this right now or I swear I'll cut off whatever communication you are having with your family tonight."

Iemitsu grabbed the papers, "Hieeeee! No Lal! I will! I'm signing! I'm signing! Please don't cut off the line! I just started getting along with my Tuna fish!"

Lal grumbled taking the papers back and letting it be processed. She smirked when her request was accepted and now Basil was officially Lal's apprentice. Just thinking about Iemitsu's expression when he learns about what just happened made her smirk and go about her day quite happily. She would have to call Colonello and inform him about the development and knowing him, would want to pitch in to train the youngest. He certainly did so with Skull when she had taken over his training during the times Reborn had missions. She looked forward to what the future brought. She knew from the others Reborn had taken on two more kids as his students and gave him credit for giving her the idea to take on Basil as her own. Teaching and watching students become successful was truly satisfying.
