Chapter 29

They had brewed a potion to make them look a couple years older and had their ID made to say over 21. There was no where they couldn't go if they were that old which Draco had discovered too. They had drank Scotch in Scotland and bourbon in Kentucky. They went to California and drank wine in Napa Valley. They ended up buying a lot of the muggle drinks to take home with them. They were staying in bora bora in some huts over the crystal blue water. They had a huge room with a massive window that disappeared and went straight out to the deck. The deck went straight into the ocean and they also had a hot tub on the edge next to the ocean. It was wonderful there was also chairs for them to sunbathe on. "Man muggles really know how to live life" Olivia said sipping on a drink of rum and juice. Her body loved the sun her natural olive tone really came out when they were in Greece and Italy. It stayed when the got to America since it was summer time when they arrived. Her blonde hair was even more platinum blonde and so was Draco's. "I can agree with that" he said sitting next to her. "Where are we going to go next" he said sitting down with some books. She looked at him and his tan skin and bright blonde hair. He was wearing swim trunks and she was in a bikini. She looked at him with love and caring. This time away from their world has been good for both. She sat up and took his hand making him look at her. "Draco I think it's time to go home" she said. "Are you sure" he said. "Yes but you have to promise me something" she said. "Anything" he said seriously. "That every year we do a muggle vacation. Not this long but something that does our minds good" she said and he smiled at her. "You have yourself a deal" he said leaning into her and giving her a kiss. She deepened it and pulled him closer. He let her deepen it.. Draco pulled her to his lounge chair letting her straddle his hips.
They were curled up in his chair as he held her. "Draco I'm going to take a job at the ministry working with muggle artifacts" "if that's what's going to make you happy" he said kissing her forehead. The next morning they woke up and Draco was eating breakfast over the water. She went to the table and sat with him. "I have something special planned for this evening and I would like you to get a nice dress for it. I already arranged a driver to take you to the store to get one" he said. She finished eating and got ready in a sun dress with her hair down and wavy. She got in the town car and he drove her to a boutique in town. She walked in and saw wedding dresses. She was confused since they had already gotten married. She went in and they were expecting her. They grabbed a bunch of dresses for her to try on and she enjoyed every minute of it. She loved the way muggles shopped trying on things. She tried on a bunch of different dresses and settled on one that was a lot different than her princess one from their actual wedding. She went back to the house and Draco wasn't there. There was a note saying to be ready at 5. She had a couple hours to get ready. She did her hair in beach waves and put on light makeup then there was a knock on the door. She opened it to see one of the hotel concierges there. She smiled and handed Olivia a flower crown that had greenery and light pink tropical flowers woven in it. She also helped Olivia put her dress on.

The lady drove Olivia down to the beach where she saw an alter set up. It had light flown fabric draped off it with matching flowers that were in her flower crown. She walked down to see Draco standing under the alter wearing khaki pants and a white button down shirt. His hair was slicked back and he looked tan from their travels. She walked down to him and he smiled at her beaming. She started tearing up looking at him. He had arranged all of this for them. They had been through so much in the last year. She grabbed Draco's hands and he kissed her gently. "What's going on" she asked. "We have been through so much this year I wanted to make our vows to each other again" he said pulling out a piece of paper. "I Draco vow to put you before anything else. I vow to put your happiness above anyone else. I vow to risk my life in place of yours if need be. I vow to love you through everything life might throw at us and who you become to be as we grow and grow together" he finished sliding another diamond band on the top side of her ring now she she had a diamond band on each side . She deepened it and they felt all their love in that kiss. Olivia noticed someone was taking pictures on a muggle camera. There was a table set up with dinner served on it. They drank champagne and had a wonderful time eating a four course meal and drinking on the beach. They got driven back to their hut. Olivia was trying to unlock the door when Draco came up behind her. He kissed her neck gently and went up to her ear." I can't wait to get that dress off you" he said. They went in the room and had a night of pure ecstasy. The next morning they packed all their belongings that they had gotten over the weeks and headed back to their house. They got home and it felt so large and empty. They sat down and ate dinner in silence and then Olivia decided to speak up. " I want to make our house smaller" she said and Draco looked at her. "Are we ever going to fill all the rooms" she asked. "Not unless we have like 14 kids" "right and we don't need 3 studies and a huge long dining room table as of right now" "you're right downsizing wouldn't be that bad" he said. "Also I would like to get a dog" she said and he looked at her. "We don't know anything about animals" he said. "What is there to know we let them go to the bathroom, feed them, and play with them. Besides I'm sure there is a book" she said grinning and he did too. She sent an owl to Mr. Weasley asking about a job. The next morning she got a response saying that they are going to have to wait a while longer. Muggle things was at the bottom of rebuilding the ministry. That meant Olivia had plenty of time to oversee remodeling the house. They downsized quite a bit and changed somethings. They were starting to lead a more muggle life. They converted one of the studies into a library with muggle books and wizard books. It had a desk and couches making it comfortable. Draco had his study with all his things and heirlooms. Olivia went into muggle shops to it furniture and things for the house. They kept the ballroom since they knew they would be having gatherings. They made the dining room table smaller and took away some of yet guest rooms leaving 6. They could always add more if they needed. They made a back patio that was covered with a fireplace and tables and chairs. They really liked the bbq they got and learned to cook on it. Olivia also started to learn to cook on her own. They started paying house elves. They figured that's where the world was heading now anyway. Then they also got a black lab puppy. They read books and trained it. Olivia and Draco loved it more than anything. They never knew they could love an animal that much. They enjoyed their life together traveling and not hating muggles anymore. They had friends over and tried to make more. Olivia and Draco had never been happier than they were now even if family relationships were strained. Draco and Olivia laid in bed naked wrapped up with each other as he stroked her hair. "Olivia Malfoy I love you" he said kissing her forehead. "Draco Malfoy I love you too" she said.
