Your eyes were wide as you silently watched Sammy's directing for you to hide from the ink demon. His mask seemed to almost glare at you and his inky arms waved around like flags, pointing to... Bendy cutouts?

What is he saying? Move the cutouts? Move them together. Move them together for me to hide behind them I guess. Yeesh, Sam, it's hard enough for me to lip-read, but you have a MASK on. Were you this difficult before?

As soon as you put a few cutouts together so that they leaned against the wall next to each other, you dove behind them, feeling the room chill and the ink around you darken. In a moment you had closed your eyes and stilled your breathing as much as possible, hoping to the highest degree you wouldn't be spotted. Soon enough, there were voices.

"Sammy. Prophet."

The first was undoubtedly Bendy's. It sent an even fiercer shiver up your spine like you were a summer flower encountering the first sting of fall, and it stilled you. His voice wasn't even LIKE an actual solid voice, but more like swirls of whispers coming together. Inky whispers of different souls forming one silky but dangerous voice-

"My lord! It's an honor to see you, as always."

"...What's with all the cutouts in one area?"

Is his voice even real or is it in all of our heads? It's so hard to tell...

"Well my lord, I figured if I put them all in one place your vision would be much clearer looking out of them. And I get to see your divine image more of course!"

"..."

"..."

"...I have a mission for you, Sammy."

"Whatever it is, I will try my best to fulfill it for you."

You closed your eyes tighter and listened harder, waiting to hear what it was Bendy wanted. There was a stabbing curiosity in you to see what he looked like, to see the creature that terrified you even through a simple mention of his presence on the first floor. But you knew you couldn't.

"I want you to help me get Henry again. I need him. He's close to Level 9, with a Boris. And he's doing tasks for... Alice."

You could hear the sharp intake of breath Sammy had, the pure tension of him processing what he was asked to do.

"My lord..."

"Of course I know your old relation to her human side. But do you REALLY think her human side possesses her now?! Do you think I'm going to let her knock me off my spot by obtaining a perfect form?!"

Your eyes flew open at this and you were tempted to move to shrink into yourself further away from the ink demon. His tone was... different now. Far different, like Sammy had triggered a different part of him when he hadn't meant to. The best way you could describe it was fiery with a layer of coldness over it. Like eels.

"Then again," the demon continued, "should I really expect that much from you? You're the one that let Henry escape after all. And you had to wait for my direction to go after him again. Do you understand what I'm implying, prophet? Or do I have to make an imprint of it in your mind?"

"...I-I understand, my lord. I shall do my best not to disappoint you again."

You flinched even as relief washed its way in from seeing the walls clear up signaling Bendy's departure. As soon as all was clear you moved out from behind the cutouts and hugged Sammy tightly. He only moved his arms up to hug back, a blush rippling along his masked face as he slightly leaked ink on you.
