I was reading a book in my bookroom, when someone stumbled in.

"Mr.Fuji! It's terrible...It's Red sir! It looks like he's headed for Cerulean Cave!"

"My young Red, are you trying to catch that monster?!" I mumbled.

I was on my Lapras, heading to Mewtwo, I could see it ahead of me, it snorted as I got onto the land he was on, and it let out a cry.

"Mewtwo then? Sorry, but I have to catch you! Go! Gengar!"

"Do you think Red is going to be all right? I know he became Champion of the Pokemon League but still.." Reina worried.

"I'm afraid young Red's Pokemon won't be able to win this battle" I replied.

"But that's-"

"If there's one hope, it's-"

"This is it, you're all I got left to count on! Charizard!" I said, looking at Charizard's Pokeball.

I threw Charizard's Pokeball, Charizard came out and let out a roar.

I thought back to when Red had came for me in Pokemon Tower.

"That was the moment, I felt I could belevie in that strength. The strength I saw in his eyes" I exclaimed.

Reina nodded in agreement.

"The legend, passed down in the faraway Kalos region since ancient days. If the bond between Charizard and it's human partner is strong enough, the great force of power will weld up".

"If the legend is true, the power that seeps between the two stones I gave him should appear....Mega Evolution!!"

I got up to look for a certain book in my bookshelf. I pulled out a red book with circular engravings on it. I turned to a page where it showed me and Oak in Kalos. We were both wearing red robes and holding out some so-called Mega Stones.

"Is that you, Mr.Fuji?" Reina asked.

"Yes, next to me was Professor Oak himself, we were partners in Pokemon research once. I belevie Oak was the one who showed me the legendary stones in the first place".

Someone else barged in again. The person called saying they needed Reina back to help clean a mess made by an Oddish, for it had just evolved into a Gloom and was starting to reek an unpleasant odor.

Reina went out of the room, I placed the book back in my bookshelf, wondering how long it was since Oak and I met.

"It was only as if it was yesterday" I said to myself.
