Soo-young: "Appa, I am not getting married!!!" And with that she ran out, tears making rivers down her cheeks.
Soo-young P.O.V
(The next day)
I woke up, quickly did my morning routine and then left for school, as I didn't want my parents to notice me since I was still mad at them. I wasn't able to eat breakfast so I bought a croissant on the way from a café.
(At school)
Soo-young: "Hey Unnie".
Irene: "Hey Joy, why do you look so angry?"
Soo-young: " I'm not angry".
Irene: "Yes you are, stop lying to my face."
Soo-young: "Unnie, it's a long story and I really don't want to repeat it as I am still in a bad mood".
Irene: "Ok, you can tell me when you feel better, ok?"
I nod, and we start to head to class wherein we started hearing people gossiping.
Irene: "I wonder what they are talking about".
Soo-young: "I really don't care and don't have the strength to find out.
Suddenly I felt someone grab my wrist and I turned and saw Sungjae dragging me to go somewhere.
Soo-young: "Yah let me go you're hurting me".
Sungjae: "Shut up, can you just follow me and stop talking".
Soo-young: "Where are you taking me you jerk?!".
It looked like he was taking me up to the rooftop of the school. Sungjae released his grip on my wrist and I saw that my wrist was now red.
Soo-young: "What was that for?"
Sungjae: "Have you not heard the gossip about us, it's all over the school".
Soo-young: "What are you talking about and who the hell is 'Us'". I ask, rubbing my still red wrist
Sungjae: "Have you really not heard people gossiping about-about 'the marriage". He says quitely
Soo-young: "Look here Sungjae, I don't want to talk about the marriage right now, okay?".
I was about to leave when he grabbed my wrist harshly again.
Sungjae: "Oy, you're just going to leave like that! What about the rumours?"
Soo-young: "Let go you jerk!"
Sungjae: "Stop calling your future husband 'jerk'"
Soo-young: "Ok, please can you let me go?" I ask sarcastically, ignoring his remark about 'future husband'
Sungjae: "Not until you tell me what we should do".
Soo-young: "It's not like you care anyways".
Sungjae P.O.V
She was right, why would I even care, so I released my grip on her wrist and let her go. I watched as she went down the stairs. I didn't have the correct mind-set to go back to class so I just stayed sitting on the rooftop during all my classes.
The bell rang, signalling the end of school so I went down slowly. Then I saw my Hyungs running towards me.
Eunkwang: "Sungjae where were you, you made us worried".
Sungjae: "Oh, I was just on the rooftop".
Minhyuk: "Why?"
Sungjae: "I was quite tired and wanted to refresh my mind, I'll be going first, see you guys later".
I walked past them leaving them worried and confused and went home.
(At home)
Mum: " Oh honey, you're home".
Sungjae: "Yes Eomma".
Mum: "Go and wash up as dinner's almost ready".
I went to my bedroom, washed up and then sat down for dinner, taking a long drink of my juice.
Sungjae: "Oh Eomma where's Appa?"
Mum: "He's out still as he'll be working late tonight".
Sungjae: "Right".
Mum: "Oh I almost forgot. Basically me and your future Mother-in-law have arranged a date for you and Soo-young this weekend".
I spit out my drink.
Mum: "Sungjae, look you even lack table manners," She exclaimed.
Sungjae: "What, why Eomma, why do I have to get married to a stupid girl like her just because of some silly agreement our grandparents made".
Mum: "Because it's what your grandparents wanted for you, so you need to accept this".
Sungjae: "You can't make me Eomma, I don't want to get married to that girl".
I slammed my drink on the table and went upstairs slamming the door shut, and then I started to throw my things all around my room, anger simmering in my veins.
Sungjae: "Ughh! Stupid marriage and stupid Soo-young. I am just going to have to make her life more miserable by bullying and annoying her so that she'll be the one to back out of this stupid agreement first".
