"Come on Val," her dad whines "These are good kids!"
Since moving to Dawninting that was the most ironic thing she heard her father say.
What would you do if you accidentally flashed your neighbor?
I WALKED OUT of the store with pride. Though the feeling was replaced with worry when I opened the car door to a frown on Mikeys face as he read the texts from his phone. "You okay?" The drink was still hidden behind me. "How did you cut your hand?" His eyes were fixed on his steering wheel. "I was helping my neighbor pick up some broken glass.." He was going to say something but I 'Shhed' him and plopped in the seat next to him. "Surprise!" I gave him the gift. "It's a 'sorry I punch you in the face because you were in my house in the dark touching me' gift." Everything l said was dripping with sarcasm. I was able to make him a crack a smile in his frown.

He took a sip. "Did that old fart tell you what to get?" His eyes were dark. "Yeah?" My face dropped. He let out a laugh, "Oh he's gonna get it." He laughed again. What the hell is he on? I started to laugh with him, "Please don't do that, your scaring me." I laugh again but that made him laugh harder. That made the situation funnier and I laughed harder. "Thanks, for the cherry cola, boxer." His smile showed his teeth as he backed out. I just kept staring at them. At him and how his hair moving as the wind hit his head. Man he's really cute. This feeling of unsettlement made me uncomfortable. My face became heated slightly.
Everything is fine before I remember that he IS fine. Stop being weird Val, he'll know what's up.
Thank god we arrived at my house. Looking at the house next to mine, I saw that they had put some cardboard and tape over the broken window.
Why did he stop the car? Most people would have just dropped a person off.
"Well, Goodnight Mikey. Sorry bout the nose." I tapped my own. He gave a sly smile. As I got out the car his hand grabbed my wrist. "Wait," he began, "Really what happened?" He gestured to the neighbors broken window. "I told you already," I closed the door, "I was helping him pick up some broken glass." I leaned in the window. Curiosity got the best of me. "Why are you so worried anyway?" I cocked a eyebrow.
"No, reason.." he sighed. I was satisfied with that. "Mkay, night creeper." I tapped the car door. I could hear him disagree with the name I called him while I walked away. I held in my laughter with a smile.
_ To my advantage dad was still asleep under the pink blanket once I returned. I crept my way all the to my room through the dark and cold house. Taking off my shoes and jean jacket I belly flopped onto my bed. I didn't care about changing my clothes at the moment because I became too tired. Minutes later my jeans became a nuisance. I groaned into my pillow. I got up barely awake and wiggles out of the fabric. I was going to go back to my bed until I noticed to Xander seemed to be arguing with someone not in my view. "Not my business." I plopped onto the bed.
