*THINGS SETTLED down with much protest from the teens surrounding V and I. "YOU KNOW WHAT!? FUCK YA'LL!" I pull out of Xander's arms and start my way to the sidewalk. "V LETS GO!" Vincent throws his final rocks at Carly before following behind me. "Val, where are you guys going!? Come on!" Phoebe shouts. We ignore her and keep walking. However, that was cut short by a pair of certain light brown eyes. "It's not safe for you guys," we brush past him, "Please! Let's just stick together!" Mikey whines. I stop which makes V stop as well.
"What did you fucktards do anyway," I give them all glances, "TO HAVE A WHOLE GROWN ASS MAN POINT A GUN AT US?!" Xander tries to shush me. "We can..." he trails, "explain..." The air between all of us was thick and silent. Carly notices and becomes irritated. "Jeez!" She starts, "We owe that man and his..." Carly stammers, "Boss, I guess, money." I give a confused look. "Aren't you people, like, rich?" Carly rolls her eyes. "The money we have isn't our own Val... it's our parents..." The brown girl with wavy hair and dark skin shies.
"And we cant exactly be like 'Mom, Dad, yeah we need ONE HUNDRED GRAND because we started dealing drugs for a crime lord, and it was going good until we dropped the rest of it in the ocean and that crime lords henchmen are coming for us until we pay it all'," Charlie sucks in more air to finish, "However, we're WAY past due date and now they have the okay to kill us. And someway somehow we brought two more innocents into this. NOW IF THEY DIE ITLL BE ON OUR HANDS AND WELL GO TO JAIL NOT ONLY FOR SELLING DRUGS BUT ALSO FOR NOT-ON -PURPOSE MURDER!" He started to panic.
Everyone gave him weird looks. His girlfriend I presume starts to soothe him. They both sit on the little bump that hold in the rocks under the bushes. "What do you mean only 'two' innocents?," I point at Phoebe, "She's innocent too." That group shared looks and Phoebe didn't look at me. Carly laughs. "Phoebe isn't INnOcENt." My eyebrows knit together. "So... your in this mess too, Phoebe?" Phoebe doesn't say anything but just nods her head. I am stunned. "Whhhhyyy, would ya'll evvvven sella drugs n-t-waysss?" Vincent's speech was slurred. "We got bored." Mikey shrugs. "BORED?" I shout. "You don't sell drugs because your bored!" Why would they WANT to sell drugs as fun? This isn't a game! People sell drugs for one or two reasons. One, to make money for their families or themselves or SURVIVE. Two, to have power and money to RULE.
"You guys are fucking CRAZY!" I had a emphasizes on 'crazy'. I pull out my phone. "I'm just going to call a Uber or something." Xander snatch's it. "Give me, my phone!"
"Val, listen. They know where I live! That man seen your face. I'm sorry but your in this mess now." Xander softly says as he held my wrists. I just can't comprehend what was happening. It didn't make sense. Who the fuck ends up in a drug scandal this EARLY into moving into a new town? How the HELL does that happen? "Let go of me!" I snatch my wrist out of his hands. His face full of sympathy. I know that look all to well. It was same annoying look I got when people found out my mother 'passed'. I wanted to smack him for it. "Don't look at me like I'm helpless child, Xander. V and I aren't fragile fucking pups, Kay?" I snap. Everyone looked at us with shock.

Time flys by when trying to find a way to pay a drug lord back. This isn't even MY mess. I know I've always wanted to be in a drama before, but I'm starting to rethink that. We all sat in that parking lot till two. Finally, we come up with a half ass solution. "We HAVE to bring our parents into this..." Marissa states. The group doesn't look at each other. "Maybe your right..." Charles trails, "If we tell them, m-maybe it'll all, just go away." He places his hands through his hair.
"We can't just, ask our parents, randomly for THOUSANDS of dollars." Carly explained. "I think we should individually gain our part of the money." Silence fell for a few seconds. Carly pulled out the calculator on her phone. The group waits with anticipation. A sinking feeling hits the bottom of my stomach when she reads the numbers aloud. "It's roughly 16,667 dollars between the six of us..." I understood why she didn't add V and I. Staring off in the distance I began to talk "Add another number... V and I will try to make it up..."
"Val-" Xander starts up. I cut him off "Listen, our lives are on the line here. OUR dads life is on the line," I take a second to breathe in the crisp air, "You told us we were in this mess now... as I make damn sure we get the absolute fuck out of it." I push myself off of the railing that led to the store. "But in the meantime you rich bastards should scrap up as much money you can from your parents." They all looked at each other. "Okay, whatever makes it easier." Xander speaks up. "Yeah, sound like a good plan, Val." Mikey adds. My eyes narrow, looking at all of them. "Mikey, take me and my brothers black asses home. Now." I gave them all one final scowl before getting in the car.
