When Sam found the phone laying at the foot of the bed, he took his chances.
It wasn't easy, but he was desperate, and so he went on to message the one person he knew of in his life. The same person that would later add him to a group chat of two other boys, and from there, a friendship held together by strong wills and stronger hearts blossomed into something beautiful.
And then they decided to meet up in person.
