Aku berjalan di iringi Alfonso ke ruang makan istana.
"Alfonso. Emanuele Victor,dia ada ke? Boleh ke aku makan bersama mereka?"
"Nope. Kau bukan makan di ruang makan istana,Aurora. Di tempat lain. Hanya kau berdua di sana nanti."
Weirdo. Apa yang dia rancang sebenarnya?
Beberapa ketika,aku nampak Principe Dominico di bilik rehatnya. So,faham-fahamlah. Aku berada di dalam bilik dia.
Cuma meja dihiasi dengan makanan dan scented candles.
"Seat. Alfonso,kau boleh pergi." Alfonso mengangguk dan beredar.
Dominico mula bangun dan memasang sebuah lagu. Alunan munik mula kedengaran.

"Kau,orang Bolognina kan? Ayah kau di rumah,siapa yang jaga sekarang?"
Soalan yang tidak terlintas di fikiran. Nevermind. Layankan je.
"No one. Aku tunggal. Ibu aku,aku pun tak pernah jumpa dia. Tapi ayah dah biasa hidup sendiri. Dia akan okey."
Aku menyuapkan potongan daging ke dalam mulut.
"Apa nama ibu kau?"
"Fernanda. Nicholina Fernanda." Sedih menyelubungi hati. Aku pun tak pernah jumpa ibu. Aku tak tau rupa dia macam mana.
Sekilas aku memandang ke arah dia. Muka dia seakan tergamam. What? Pelik sangat ke nama ibu aku?
"Ka-kau kata apa?! Fernanda?!"
Tak,yang dia terjerit-jerit ni dah kenapa? Geez! Tak pernah tak menyakitkan hati!
"Yelah! Habis kau dengar apa tadi? Fernanda lah!"
Muka dia speechless,clueless ha apa lagi. Senaraikan. Beberapa ketika,wajah dia baru kembali kepada asal.
"I'm not deaf. Aren't me?" Kedengaran dia berbisik perlahan.
"Pardon?" Jangan lah cakap sorang-sorang.
"No. Nothing."
Aku kembali menyuap daging ke dalam mulut. Air yang berwarna merah kehitaman maybe sedikit keunguan aku ambil perlahan-lahan.
Kelat,manis dan masam mula terasa. Argh! Arak apa ni?! Pelik betul rasa dia. It's too strong.
"Arak apa ni Dominico? Peliknya rasa dia!"
"Ooh. Aku lupa nak bagi tau kau. Arak tu kinda limited sebab hanya ada di il palazzo. Ia disimpan beribu-ribu tahun. Once kau minum,kau tak boleh berhenti."
Apa dia cakap. Aku memerhati gelas aku. Gosh! Aku dah minum secawan! Patutlah aku rasa panas dan pening.
"Look at you little kitty. You're drunk."
"St-stop it,Domini. Argh...It's hot."
"Good to hear that."
Suara Principe di hadapan aku ketika ini semakin tidak kedengaran. I'm too dizzy!
Aku tersembam di atas meja. Tiada lagi suara Principe kedengaran.
