I can't go back to yesterday - because I was a different person then.

The day was hot, long and very, very boring. Dipper Pines had opted to sit under the shade of a pine tree as he drew the Bottomless Pitt not too far from his position. Mabel was sitting next to him in a patch of sun, not bothered by the heat in her woolen sweater. She was trying to read a book without pictures, while Waddles chewed at her shoe. The pig was lying across her legs lazily, "This book is laammmeee" she grumbled, balancing it on her head instead.

Dipper chuckled, "Maybe if you hadn't been trying to impress that boy you'd have the ones you wanted."

Bill was watching them, not bothered by the heat and not at all in the mood for this. He was bored out of his mind and wanted nothing more than to stir up some trouble. Which is exactly what he would do once he had an excellent plan in mind.

He peered out from behind the tree and gazed down at Dipper's art book, a grin slowly spreading across his face as an idea formed in his mind. He reached down and quickly tugged the book from Dipper's hands as he penned his signature, "Don't you kid's ever do anything fun around here? What are you even drawing?" he asked, turning it upside down to see if that would help.

"Hey! Give that back!" the boy cried, "It's private!"

"Why is it private? Is Wendy in it? Or maybe some cartoon nastiness?" Bill teased, chuckling as Dipper's face heated up, "NO!"

Mabel pushed Waddles off her and leapt at Bill in attempt to get it back, "That's Dippers you pointy jerk! Give it back!" she cried, missing him by a few inches. Bill floated over to the Pitt and waved the book in his hand, "Your insults are sweet, but I'm really bored."

"No no no, don't you dare! I don't know what's down there!" Dipper exclaimed. Bill dropped it with a nasty grin, "Oops? My bad" the demon said, cackling madly as the book disappeared into the darkness.

The twelve-year-old huffed, "I worked really hard on those drawings!!"

Bill grabbed Mabel as she peered over the edge, the girl trying to see if she could hear it hit the bottom, "Then maybe your sister can go fetch it for you?" the demon said, cackling as Mabel shrieked.

"Bill, this isn't funny!" Dipper cried, glaring at the immortal demon angrily, "Oh really? I'm finding it hilarious!" Bill replied, Mabel slipping a few inches from his gloved fingers.

"Dipper!" Mabel cried, fear in her eyes as her twin sweated nervously.

"I have no idea what's down there, what if she dies? Um, then you won't have anyone to torment, will you?" Dipper tried, knowing this probably wouldn't end well. Bill looked at his nails and smirked, "Nice one kid, but I know exactly what's down there."

"Can you tell me?" the boy asked, coming closer,

"Oh its nothing much, just terror beyond your wildest nightmares"

"What do you want from us!?"

"Nothing at the moment, just some fun, besides if one of you is out of the way, I may just have a chance" Bill said, muttering the last part to himself. Dipper frowned, he was close enough to have just caught the phrase, "Chance? Chance at what?"

"You heard nothing!" Bill cried, Mabel slipping from his hand in his shock at being caught out, "Oops, I didn't mean to do that at all" he added, cringing as Mabel fell, screaming loudly and flailing in the air.

Dipper ran closer to the edge, "MABEL!" he cried, teetering as he tried to see his sister. He grabbed Bill's foot as he tripped on the edge, and the demon was plucked from the air as the two of them descended into the Bottomless Pitt.

"Will you stop screaming! It's been ten minutes and my ears are bleeding!" Bill cried, stretching out his arm to tug Mabel back up to them. He snapped his fingers as Dipper continued to scream, and an apple jammed the boy's mouth shut,

"Shut up!"

Dipper spat at the fruit, "Are we going to die!? Why can't you just poof us out!?" he said, obviously in a panic. Bill crossed his arms, "I can't, even if I wanted to, this damn place doesn't obey my magic."

"Where are we even going!?"

Bill smiled, "A place filled with madness and unexplained things"

"Sounds awesome, what's it called?" Mabel asked,

Bill rolled his eyes, he rather enjoyed the girl's chaotic craziness sometimes,

"Wonderland."
