"i miss you"

"i miss you too"
"wait why did i just say that?"

"i don't know, but same"

"who are you?"
"are you my soulmate?"

"who are you?"

"choi chanhee."

"chanhee? kim younghoon's soulmate?"

——

three months has passed. the two eventually became close. chanhee would help changmin in the library after school and on seven pm, when the library closes, they'd buy drinks from a cafe across the street then walk home together.

today wasn't any different.

chanhee was lost in his thoughts. sipping his warm latte, sighing as the heat replaced the cold winds of the night. changmin, on the other hand, was enthusiastically babbling on about words that flew in from one of chanhee's ear and out from the other.

"hey, are you even listening?"

"huh? oh i'm sorry i got lost in my thoughts again."

changmin sighed "you've been lost in your thoughts lately. is something wrong?"

chanhee laughed. "aren't i always lost in my thoughts?"

"well yeah, but is there something wrong? you know, i'm always here for you."

chanhee gave a half-hearted smile to the other. "no, i guess zoning out kinda became a habit. you can continue your rant."

"i have to start all over again" changmin sighed. "but it's nothing interesting. a new student just transferred at my class. he's kinda cute. might ask him out someday his name's kim younghoon."

chanhee stopped in his tracks. kim younghoon. why does that sound familiar.

"kim younghoon's soulmate?"

"why is something wrong? do you know who he is?" changmin looked at the other worriedly.

"no. but his name sounds familiar."

"hmmm... really??? i'll introduce him to you someday then. i mean after i talk to him."

"what? no!"

"why not? i'll be fun." changmin looked at chanhee with puppy eyes.

"fine."

"yay."
