A New World

Chapter 5

Aliyah and Bohdi stood at the living room looking at each other in confusion and questioning themselves about why everyone was saying that they were special.

- What is everybody talking about? What do they mean? Why no one is telling us a single thing? - said Aliyah to Bohdi with a thinking facial expression. She was starting to trust no one at all.

Bohdi hold Aliyah's hands to calm her down. She was spiraling about the questions she was making to herself and about the situation with Stephanie.

- Relax, I'm positive that tomorrow we'll know something else and our questions will be answered. Now, let's go to sleep, ok? We really need to rest. - said Bohdi with a calmed voice , even though he didn't trust no one anymore due to all the mystery and secrets kept from them.

The couple went to their room to sleep.

Brooklyn and Sage, were on the bed. Brooks was with her back lying on the wall and Sage was between her legs and lying on Brooklyn's body.

They were calmed, chatting while Brooks played with Sage's hair and caressing her face.

- These people are really weird, they're hiding something from us for sure. - said Sage while lovingly playing with Brooklyn's fingers.

- I don't think they want to hurt us, if so, they had already done it. We have to give them the benefit of doubt. - said Brooklyn.

- Don't defend them! Why are you defending her? - said Sage annoyed and getting up to look at her girl's eyes.

- Her? - said Brooklyn. And suddenly she realized what she meant.

- Why do you keep insisting on her? I don't give a shit about her, I mean this place, the old lady and what people say about us. They're not being clear and say nothing to us. - replied Brooklyn really annoyed. She wanted Sage to forget about the idea of her and Stephanie.

- And doesn't that bother you? They saying nothing. I hope tomorrow they start talking or... - Sage was gonna proceed when Brooklyn interrupted.

- Are you gonna let your wild side loose and bring back the kicks? Cause I love that side of yours. - said Brooklyn giving Sage a really in love look while smiling in a sassy way. Suddenly she hugged Sage and both went back to the initial position.

Sage blushed while smiling too. She liked Brooklyn to say those things to her, but still was intimidating for her. Actually she didn't know how Brooklyn was interested in a girl like her, so meaningless and common. Cause Brooklyn was really amazing and she always thought that Brook deserved someone at her level.

Sage didn't reply and Brooklyn knew she was intimidating. She liked that and played with that benefit. She enjoyed Sage's shyness.

They kept quiet, but Brooklyn suddenly noticed Sage fall asleep cause this one stopped playing with her fingers.
- Are you awake? - said slowly so make sure Sage was really asleep.

She didn't get a reply, so trying not to wake her up, Brooklyn put her on a bed side and covered her. She stared at her during a while admiring her relaxed and sweet face.

Brooklyn put herself behind Sage, putting her arm around her.

- Good night my Sage. - said Brooklyn into her girl's ear and kissing her cheek.

And that's how they spent the whole night, hugging.
