Nevada was the place where dreams came true.

Addilyn looked across the table at the diner at Harper, they were more in love than ever before. After a week of resting once Addilyn got to Nevada with Harper, she volunteered to go back and rescue her people. Her father wasn't too happy she ran away without them, but he was thankful she could accomplish what he set out for her to do. It made her feel so humble and proud of herself, her father actually wanted her to be a leader of some sort, just not a small community, he would want her to be the leader of the free world.

The real Harper was a lot different from the Harper she knew, but she fell back in love the same way as before, feeling safe to fall in love with a woman because it wasn't forbidden. Jerome came through the dinner doors and kissed Addilyn's cheek and Harper's. The three of them were best friends. Addilyn and Jerome never kissed, they never confessed feelings for each other, and there wasn't a kid between them anymore. That's one thing Addilyn missed, her son. Like he wasn't real and everything about him was just in her ever so realistic dream.

She smiled thinking about her son she could have with Jerome, they would ask him one day, but for now, they were just friends. Jerome looked up at Harper and smiled softly, she was staring and didn't catch herself. She looked down at her water and took a sip.

"Oh my god, are you Addilyn Montgomery?" A you g girl came up to their table and stared in awe at the newly famous woman before her eyes.

"Of course." Addilyn smiled.

"The first women who might make it to presidency?" The little girl's voice got higher and higher with every word.

She was correct though. Addilyn wasn't a little girl with little dreams anymore, she didn't want to run a run-down small community, she wanted to run the world, she wanted to protect her people one step higher, she knew she could do it, and so did other people. The results would come with time who was the president by the end of June, but for now, she was the only woman candidate to make it over 80% of the popular vote as well as most of the electoral college votes. She felt accomplished.

The little girl handed her a paper and fan-girled slightly, "can I please have your autograph." She handed her a pen afterwards.

Addilyn smiled widely and chicken scratched her signature out on the little piece of paper. She would need to work on that, but for now, that would be her first attempt at an autograph.

Addilyn smiled at the little girl and handed the paper back. The young girl gave Addilyn a big hug and skipped away.

"You're going to be president one day. Every little girl looks up to you, hell I even look up to you, Madame President." Jerome laughed and Harper joined in.

"Shut up." She nudged Jerome ans kicked Harper under the table, "I don't need your bad juju to jinx me." Addilyn smiled.

But they were right, to be the first woman president was her dream, she was a leader, her father raised her right, and now she would run the world. The three of them walked out of the diner together and headed back to their home.

At night, Addilyn laid in bed and Harper brushed her hair before setting down the brush and looking over at Addilyn in the bed, reading her favorite book, "Evidently." She was stuck on it, she barely noticed when Harper crawled between her legs and planted a kiss on her neck and then up to her lips as she started to notice her.

"What are you doing." It was more of a comment than a question, Addilyn knew what Harper was doing. She placed her book down on the table and kissed Harper.

"Come with me." Harper got up and lent her hand down to Addilyn who eagerly grabbed it. Harper let her outside to the balcony where they had a table and two chairs for each other, but this time the table wasn't empty, it was full of food and wine.

"What is this for?" Addilyn laughed watching the table, more focused on that.

Addilyn turned on her heels slightly to notice that Harper wasn't standing next to her anymore, she was kneeling.

"Addilyn... I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Harper started, but she didn't get much out because Addilyn was already in her arms.

"Yes. I would love to spend the rest of my life with you." She hugged her tightly.

And so they did.
