today's the day alex's coming over. i've cleaned for about three hours straight so i was already exhausted. but i downed an entire monster and mentally prepared myself. since we were making strawberry pie for a youtube video i decided to set up the ingredients and get everything ready.

i got a text message from alex at about 12:25. we exchanged numbers the other day because it's easier than discord.

i just got a call from alex saying he's about five minutes away. i told him i would wait outside my apartment building until he comes. i hurry down stairs and go to the front door. i see a car pull up and park in a parking spot in front of me.

i can see alex from the windshield. i smile and wave at him. he turns the car off and opens the door.

it's him. it's really him.
