Forth POV
I got out of bed earlier than usual because I wanted to go to work early. I wasn't able to eat breakfast in haste because today I will be meeting the artist that I have been anticipating to meet for a long time. Our company will be endorsing a contemporary artist for a big clothing line. He's one of the rarest gem that is hard to comeby.
In my line of work, I find artists like him on a day to day basis. It's not that easy to find someone like him. A man of pure talent. But aside from headhunting, I have mountains of paperworks to do. I virtually live in my office because of this. But it's okay. I work this much for my wife and kids. Yes, I'm running for Father of the year awardee! Joke!
When I arrived at work, Lam immediately greeted me. He's my assistant/secretary/coffee maker/sermon lord/bestfriend. He's the maker and breaker of all my days. It's what he does for a living.
A/N: Sermon in Filipino context is equivalent to nagging. Yup. Even though technically, most of our countrymen are devout Catholics. We use sermon as a negative thing. Haha!
"Good morning boss! You got a real busy day ahead, so ready your dad bod in the making!" Lam's opening salvo.
"Ugh! What a great way to open the day Lam!" I replied with sarcasm.
"Of course! It's my job to remind you of your responsibilities in the company! Especially with that short term memory of yours." I feel attacked!
*sigh*
"That's why when I see your face Lam, I feel tired already."
"Well, deal with it boss. Because I'm here to keep you in your position. Many people are aspiring for the position that you have now, and I'm the thorn in their neck! Kapish?"
"Haaaay! Do I even have a choice?"
"Glad we are on the same wavelength! Haha!" Lam laughed triumphantly while he arranged the paperworks called my stresses for the day.
"Let's do that later. I need Mr. Baramee Vongviphan's catalogue... AND! I need a cup of coffee please!" I asked with a wry smile.
"Right away boss!" He gave a salute then went to his desk where the coffee maker was located and grabbed the document I need.
"Baramee Vongviphan. Here's the invite to his exhibit, his catalogue, his references... hmmm?" I stopped. There seemed to be something missing.
"He declined to be photographed." Lam read my mind.
"How will I recognize him in the exhibit then?"
"Just ask around. He'll be there anyway."
"Hmmmp... Well okay, nevermind. What else do I have in store today?" I asked absentmindedly while browsing the catalogue again.
"Nothing urgent. Just finish signing the piles of documents for signature. Then, the higher managent summons you for a meeting later, maybe you'll be promoted again." He teased.
"Hahahha! Stop overreacting Lam. Go on, get lost so my stress will lessen."
"Aye Aye!" He left with another salute.

It was around 6PM when I got home to prepare for the exhibit gala. I dressed to impress. I didn't want to look shabby during the exclusive event.
When I arrived at the venue, I inquired with the receptionist of the event space assigned to Mr. Baramee Vongviphan. I was pointed to the grand ballroom and saw the apt decor for the gala.
Wow! The place was amazing! It's filled with beautiful artworks!
His works were truly topnotch! If you will gaze at them, they will pull into the world inside each painting. He has a perculiar technique in using colors. If you will inspect it carefully, you will surmise that it doesn't have any patterns. It's as if he's just painting along and let the brush place the colors accordingly. But the results are incredible! Happy, sad, sexy, and anger. You'll feel all spectrum of emotions when you look at his works.
