Another chapter is a chapter closer where I can start the sequel. And I am pumped.

I wake up to the sound of a guy's screaming voice. I hop out of my bed and look down
my hall. The noise is coming from the last door where my mom has her work. I run down there as fast as my tired legs would take me. I get to the door knob and hear a guy's deep voice in the room. I open the door and stand under the frame. I see a guy about my age with black hair and green eyes.
"Who is this?" He says while looking at my mom.
"Rebecca," I reply for myself.
I don't know if he is trying to be intimidating looking at me like that but it is not working. I look at my mom directly in the eyes.
"I thought you started work tomorrow?"
"Well we have a neighbor that asked if her son could see me," she says.
I look at him directly in his green eyes and his jaw locks like he wants to yell at me or kill me, maybe both.
"Well could we please keep the noise level down, some of us are still trying to sleep?" I say keeping my eye contact the whole time.
"My sincere apologies, Rebecca ." He says with a almost evil smirk on his face.
"Brad didn't mean to wake you,Rebecca," my mom steps in.
"Brad," I say under my breath. I look up at him and raise my eyebrow.
"Well perhaps not," I say.
"I'll see you around,Rebecca," Brad says.
"It's a possibility," I reply while walking out of the room.
Who does he think he is with an attitude like that talking to me? Does he know who I am? I walk into my room my face is red with anger. I get out of my sweats and put of some jeans with a sweater. I have never been that livid before. This is why I don't interact with people at all because I get mad. Is that what I'm like talking to people? I go downstairs to get some breakfast because my stomach is growling like I hadn't just eaten the night before. I decided to make some eggs. When I was heated the pan up I go to grab a couple of eggs from the fridge. I turn around and Brad was sitting in the kitchen looking at me. I look at him and keep walking to the fridge.
"You don't get scared easily do you, kid?" He asked while looking at me.
"Not really," I reply.
I don't know what it was but I feel like he has talked to me before today.
"Would you like some eggs?" I asked him for some unknown reason that the universe itself could not answer.
"No I was just going to head out but wanted to see you again," he says while getting up and leaving.
