This one's mostly filler but also kinda important because it's my lazy way of explaining what kind of character the reader is and further establishing things to do with (Y/n).

. . .

The next day was Tuesday. Thankfully the school didn't expect us to start classes right away, even though we're second-years, but instead had the first two days (Monday and Tuesday) as sort of orientation days. The first day is used to go over the standard "I'm your teacher and this is the kind of work we're gonna do" stuff with each pro hero, and the second is more of a tour. We walk around the different rooms and additional buildings on the large and fairly open U.A. campus and they show us all the training centers, nurse stops, classrooms, bathrooms, changing rooms and computer labs.

Didn't think a school that focuses so much on hero training would have something as conventional as a computer lab, let alone three, but it turns out this is where the support course students spend most of their time. I'm not sure why that was surprising to me, I used to visit with some of the designers and inventors in that class on slow days to share ideas on side projects, both for things in and out of school.

As we went through the day walking around campus with class 1-B and their teacher, we took a break for lunch at the normal time. I was more or less starting to dread these times here, seeing as how if I continued to show up without food Iida could turn it into a big deal. I did come slightly prepared though. Yesterday I was kinda testing the waters and too uneasy to eat, but today's been a lot less new so it should probably be ok. I brought a small snack bar thing in my bag to try and keep up on what Kodona and Aisaru are seeing as progress, and honestly I'm feeling pretty ok so far with the idea of eating. It'll probably be ok today.

As we walk up to the cafeteria, there once again is the flood of students going in and out of the room and the almost heavy sound of uneven chatting and squeaking and clanging. It's not too bad though, just the general noise, but I do wonder if things like this ever bother Jiro. I haven't had much interaction with her so far, but she seems cool enough, really modest. Her quirk is super interesting too, I hope to learn more about it if I get to know her this year.

I had just stepped through the door into the lunch room when I heard my name.

"Young Kettei! Excuse me,"

I pause and turn around, recognizing the voice of the previous Symbol of Peace but having a harder time recognizing his body in the mass of teenagers.

It only takes a few seconds seeing as how he's taller than most people, his bony form sticking out slightly, not to mention his mane of bright, blonde hair. I spot him and wave back, and I notice his waving turns more into beckoning. I walk towards him, following him out into the hall, running my hand up an down the strap of my bag to calm the anxiety of being pulled aside. I couldn't have already done anything wrong, right? It's probably just extra directions or something since I'm a transfer student.

When we go back out into the hallway there are only a few students left, so we can hear each other more clearly. The tall, blond man has his usual warm smile on as he speaks.

"Sorry to pull you from lunch but there's something a few of the other teachers and myself wanted to discuss with you and we thought this time would be less disruptive to everyone's schedules, but if you'd rather wait we can always try for some time later today after we finish the walk-through." He leaves the sentence in a way that wasn't a question but still open to change from my response, and I quickly answer.

"Oh, no, it's ok, don't worry." I try to smile and I snap my fingers as an anxious tick behind my back. "Yeah, no, this works great- plus, it wouldn't be very polite if I kept you guys waiting."
