Me and Payton have been dating for 7 months,but we keep getting into fights. {Conversation between me and Payton}
Me-Just stop yelling at me!
Payton-I'm not yelling at you
Me-Bullshit! Payton you are yelling at me right now!
Payton-Because you won't shut up so I can talk.
Me-Ok I'm done!
Payton-DONE?Done with what!?!?
Me-With this Payton,I'm done with this! We both had tears rolling down our faces.
Payton-Done with us? Is this it are you breaking up with me?? His voice was basically a whisper. I've never seen him this sad.
Me-No,Pay that's not what I meant.
Payton-Why?
Me-Why what?
Payton-Why do we do this to ourselves,to each other? Why do we fight,why don't we ever just end it all?
Me-What are you saying? You want to break up??
Payton-I'm just asking why!
Me-Because we love each other,Payton that's why!
Payton-Well maybe I don't anymore.Did you ever think about that??He basically yelled it, he was crying.
Me-Maybe you don't what,Payton?!? I basically screamed at him.
Payton-Love you.
Me-Do you...still love me? It was hard so say those words.I didn't know if I wanted to know the answer.
Payton-I don't know anymore. I didn't know what to say I just sat on couch,it was hard to breathe I was crying so hard.
Me-I can't be here right now. I got up and ran out the door. I drove to Bryce's house by the time I got there I was sobbing so I hard I couldn't talk.I knocked on the door it was the middle of the night so I didn't know if he was still up but I didn't know where else to go,he opened the door.
Bryce-Hey sis? Are you ok,what's wrong?
Me-H-He doesn't l-love me anymore!
Bryce-What?Wait who doesn't love you anymore??
Me-Payton! I fell into his chest,he wrapped his arms around me and held me close as I sobbed. We walked to the couch so we could talk.
Bryce-Ok slowly now,tell me what happened what makes you think he doesn't love you anymore.
Me-He looked me in the eyes and he told me he didn't love me anymore.
Bryce-I'm sure that's not what he meant.
Me-What does it mean to tell someone you don't think you love them anymore??
Bryce-He was probably just upset,you should talk to him.
Me-I don't think he wants to see me.
Bryce-But you want to see him,you want to ask him if he is truly done with you.
Me-Why do you know me so well?
Bryce-Because I'm your best friend,and I love you. And so does Payton.
Me-I-I just want to know if he meant it. Bryce hugged me tightly and kissed me on the head. He whispered to me.
Bryce-Go to him,if things don't work out you can stay here.
Me-Thanks Bryce.
Bryce-You're welcome sis! I went back to Payton's house, I stood on the porch for a while before I finally knocked. Payton opened the door,his eyes were red and I could tell he had been crying. He moved from in front of the door so I could come inside. We sat on the couch in silence for a while until he spoke
Payton-I-I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it. I was upset and I just wanted some time.
Me-So you say you don't love me??
Payton-I do love you,I just don't love fighting with you.
Me-Me either Payton but I would never tell you I don't love you! I yelled at him,I was sobbing.
Payton-I know that baby and I'm sorry that I said that. You know I don't mean it right?
Me-You looked me in the face and said you didn't love me that is way worse than saying we are over,you just threw away everything that we built the for the last 7 months.
Payton-I'm so sorry please baby,please tell me you can forgive me someday?
Me-Of course I forgive you Payton,it just hurts right now.
Payton-I get it,and if you want to stay somewhere else tonight I won't blame you. He got up to walk out,I reached out and grabbed his arm. He stopped and looked at me,his eyes were full of tears.
Me-Pay, wait I want to stay here tonight.I stood up and wrapped my arms around him,he kissed me on the head.
Me-Please promise me we will never fight this bad again.
Payton-I promise baby girl, I'll never hurt you that bad again.When you hurt,I hurt. He put his hands on my cheeks and kissed me.
Payton-I love you so fucking much baby!
Me-I love you too pay.
Payton-I'm going to bed you coming?
Me-Nah I'll be there later. He went to his room,I waited about 10 minutes before I went to bed.He was almost asleep, he was facing the opposite way of the door.I laid down behind him with my back to him. He rolled over and put his arms around me,he hadn't done that in a long time. I rolled over and snuggled into his chest.
Payton-I promise to do better baby.
Me-I love you pay pay.
Payton-I love you too babes. After awhile he rolled over with his back to me,I ran my fingers through his hair because it helps him fall asleep,then he finally fell asleep,he is so cute when he sleeps.After a while of watching Payton sleep I fell asleep.
