We were sitting on his couch watching All American together and my phone rang,I looked down to see that it was my ex Mikey Barone. I flipped it over fast trying not to let Zach see but it didn't work.
Z-What's wrong? M-Nothing Z-Who is calling that's got you all fucked up? M-Nobody,look I should get going. Z-Ok babes I'll call you later? M-Ok yeah. Z-Want me to walk you out? M-No I'm ok Z-Ok I love you M-I love you too. I bent down and kissed him before I left. While I was on the way home Mikey called again.
MB-Heyyyy I thought you were going to keep ignoring me. M-Well I was with my boyfriend and talking to my ex isn't ideal on a date. MB-Oh did you finally end up with Bryce? M-Oh My God Mikey shut up. No I didn't end up with Bryce,I'm Dating Zach. MB-Even better M-Anyway why did you call me? MB-Oh yeah I called to tell you that I am back in LA and I want to see you. M-I don't know,I'll have to talk to Zach about it. MB-Ok just let me know what you decide. M-Yeah ok byeee MB-No I wanna talk more...I miss you. M-I have to go bye! MB-Fine,Bye
(Zach pov:) I was sitting on the couch after Emily left,I knew Mikey had called her but I don't know why she couldn't just tell me that.I decided to go to Bryce's house because I thought he would know something about Mikey and his ex's since they used to be best friends.And since him and Emily were super close friends he might know what she was thinking. I pulled up and saw that Tayler Holder was there which was even better because they were all close.
B-Holly shit look who it is! T-Ayeeee Zach Z-Ayye guys I got a problem. B-What kind of problem? Z-A girl problem. T-Shiit did Emily finally dump your ass? Tayler left to go to the bathroom. Z-No but Mikey Barone called her today. B-Holy fuck,did she answer?? Z-I don't know she left right after. B-Shiiit...You got BarOWNed Z-BarOWNed?? What the hell is that. Tayler walked in from the bathroom. B-Hey Tayler,Zach got BarOWNed T-Oh shit I knew it was only a matter of time. Z-Ok can one of you idiots please tell what the hell you are talking about! B-Ok so Mikey and Emily dated for 2 years. Z-Right T-They were really in love but they broke up because well you know Mikey is an ass. B-But every couple of months Mikey comes back to town to see family and it doesn't matter how long they are broken up or who she has moved on with. T-Mikey calls her and she goes running back to him like nothing ever happened. B-And we call it getting BarOWNed. It's a play on words,like you got owned by Mikey Barone. Funny I know. T-And that's what happened to you. Z-Ok so how do I get unbarOWNed? B-You don't T-Yeah nobody has ever gotten her back after she goes back to Mikey. Z-No I don't except that I can't lose her,I love her. B-I guess try to talk to her before she goes to see him. T-You better hurry she's probably with him right now! Z-Alright I am out guys B-Alright see you later T-Go catch your girl Z I went home and called Emily first thing. She didn't answer so I texted her.

(My pov:) I was sitting in my room heard Zach come in. He said he needed to talk to me and I'm really worried about what it is. M-Hey baby you ok? Z-No, I'm not ok because I love you and I don't want you to leave me and it's not fair that I don't get a chance to save myself from what's coming. M-Ok babe slow down I don't know what you mean,what's not fair and what's coming? Z-You leaving me M-Wait what, why do you think I'm leaving you. Z-I talked to Bryce and Tayler and they told me what happened. M-Bryce and Tayler, What happened? Zach I am so lost. Baby you have nothing to worry about. Z-Yes I do because I got BarOWNed! M-BarOWNed,What the hell is that? Z-Mikey called you today and now you are going to leave me for him because you love him and you always will. And I don't get a chance to save myself from it. Z- I know and I'm sorry I got all worked up. M-I love that you are willing to fight for me. I wrapped my arms around his stomach as I pulled him into a hug he laid his cheek on the top of my head. Go turn the Netflix on,I'm calling Bryce. I got out of the hug and grabbed my phone to call Bryce.
B-Heyy what's good did you talk to Zach?? M-Yeah I did,BAROWNED?!?? Really Bryce that's not even a thing. B-I guess he told you huh. M-Yeah he did and he was all upset about it.Why would you say that to him? B-Ummm because it's the truth. M-No I was done with Mikey a long time ago. B-Ok yeah sure,Until he comes back to town then you're not. M-You're an ass. B-Love you too sis M-Bye Bryce B-Ouch harsh didn't even say it back. M-love you too stupid. After I hung up on Bryce I went back up to my room to see Zach. Z-I'm sorry I flipped out like that. I was just so worried,I love you so much. M-It's ok,I love you too. I Laid my head on his chest and we finished All America,then Zach feel asleep right after.
