Krystal jolted up looking for that intruder she thought she saw earlier...she wasn't afraid at all but felt the rush of excitement over her. She thought she really saw a pair of orb like eyes staring deeply at her the moment she opened her eyes.
She was sure someone was there beside her but to her disappointment she can't find any trace of that someone anymore..then the cold breeze made her shiver and noticed the now opened window infront of her...her feet searched for her slipper and went towards the window to close it...it was then she realized she's still in her uniform.
Dragging herself to the bathroom she decided to take a hot bath...after changing to more comfortable clothes she lazily laid back down on her bed then something strange caught her eye...rurning her head to her right where her table is, her heart skipped when she saw the bunch of fresh flowers above it...

"see?! that wasn't just a dream Soojung-ah" she said in now high pitched voice going for the flowers.

She excitedly sniffed the flowers and out she went...she saw Kai on the hallway not far from her room..seconds after he realized her presence,his expression brightened up but looked puzzled as she held up the flowers...

"where did you get that?"---Kai asked making Krystal raise her brow at him...

Kai walked towards her and grabbed her wrist dragging her back to her room... He closed the door and roamed his eyes around Krystal's room as the latter looked at him with her arms crossed..

"what do you think your'e doing?" Krystal asked as her guardian searched even in her bathroom..he did not utter any words but kept on looking for who knows what it is...

"Yah---"

"someone got in here" he cut her off and she was shocked seeing traces of someone's shoes from her window towards her bed.."how could you be so careless?!"Kai walked towards her table where the still unwilted flowers she got on her birthday are kept in a vase...

"I---I thought you gave those to me..." Krystal said softly but deep inside her her hopes shoot up thinking Amber was the one who came...she looked at Kai and his lips formed a thin line and seems to be thinking deeply...then with a deep sigh he took off something from his wrist and tied it around the window locks...

"this would do...go back to sleep now and I'll go to your father and talk----" Krystal held back his arms to stop him...

"no Kai...please let's just keep this between us...you know him so well..he might totally lock me up in this room if you tell him...I still want to go to school...make friends..have a bit of freedom on my own..and besides,see?I'm fine they didn't hurt me at all...please?oh?" she pleaded and faked a sad face but within she's into something..

"okay---fine but never take off those locks" he pointed at the window and Krystal nodded in response..

When she was left alone, her eyes were fixed on the flowers on her table fallung into deep thought once again...

Meanwhile......

Loud knocks on Donghae's door caused him to wake up...he successfully opened his right eye and looked at the clock beside him...

"the hell..."he cursed under his breath seeing it's almost two in the morning...

He was just going to ignore it but then the person on the other side seems persistent and have no plans to stop untill he opens up... Half-asleep he dragged himself to the door and opened it an inch wide...seeing it's their maknae who looked so disturbes he welcomed him instantly giving way for him into his room...

"what's the matter?" he asked before closing the door behind him...he walked towards Amber who kept on biting his nails...

"hyung I think I'm sick" Amber answered holding his chest that's bothering him since he got home...

Donghae felt Amber's forehead with his palm to see what his brother meant..

"but you look fine...why?are you hurt anywhere?"

Without any words Amber took his brother's hand to his chest...still Donghae didn't get it and looked at him questioningly...

"something..."Amber paused his eyes glued on his chest..
"I---I think I did something terrible"as he nipped on his fingertips
"something's in here...shou---should we counsult elder Hwang?" he stuttered but it was then Donghae burst out into laughing fit...he curled up in his bed pressing his stomach while Amber just stared at him cluelessly.

"Amber that's your heart pabo-yah" Donghae said grabbing Amber's hand to his chest "see? I have it too..."

Amber scratched his head in confusion and without any words he walked back to his room leaving his elder brother still making a fit of him..

"are you there all along?" Amber said pertaining to his heart which he felt wasn't normal for him to have...

Amber's POV

I wasn't planning to come to school today since I don't really feel well...my head's spinning like it's gonna explode any minute...my hair looks fiercer than ever...I don't know it's just feel strange...

I wanted to ask our father but then I stopped myself to since I can't let anyone know I am sneaking in someone else's room every night and worst it's the ice princess' room...

That very moment I felt her presence and munite after,she did came in to our classroom this time not with her oh so famous cold stare but she looked like a tamed cat...the moment our eyes met, I wasn't able to stare back like before and turned my head down to my desk...

A few times I heard her cleared her throat and I could feel her sharp gaze towards me...

"good morning Amber" she then spoke in a very endearing way I'd ever hear since we met...and it's not normal...not at all. .

I ignored her instead taking out my notebook and sketched randomnly...my heart started pounding so fast and felt really uncomfortable on my sit..my pen instantly dropped on the floor the moment I felt a hand on my shoulder...

"had a good sleep mr. Liu?" she said in almost a whisper and felt her breath near my ear...my throat ran dry and I couldn't shove her hand away my heart reacted to it's extreme...with my head down low I tried looking around for help but nobody was paying us any attention... When her hand started to travel down to my chest I stood up and without looking back I walked fast to avoid her...

I realized it was too late to go back seeing the empty hallway when Krystal grabbed my wrist holding me still...why am I reacting this way towards this ice princess...I know I shouldn't be intimidated by anyone specially her but this moment I don't know I just don't feel like fighting back...

"Amber let's talk.." she said more like an order to me...when I didn't budge what she did next came too fast I froze eyes open wide as her head rest right above my chest...*what have you done to me* I thought as I look out in the open...our eyes met when she raised her head and smiled...

"guhh your making me sick!" I pushed her away only to be held back with her raising my hand..

"it's you right?you came to see me last night!" she said gladly her eyes were full of excitement while looking at my bracelet... *did I just got caught?!*

"I don't know what your'e saying...what your'e up to so stop it"I knew theres no point of lying anymore when she showed me the string I used last night and my only escape is to keep my cold wall between us but everything she does made me do the opposite...I wanted her closer...I feel happy being around to her... "it's you right?"*shit her puppy eyes* how does she do that?! "right?"she repeated and before I could give in to her pleading eyes I calmly held her hand off my wrist...

"I like you.."she said and paused "no...I love you..." she corrected herself and my jaw literally dropped..I did not say a thing but walked away..what made me stop is her sudden moodswing

"one more step and your dead!!" she shouted not bothered if th others are having classes or not.
