Chapter 11: Chaos

"Wow Mr. Kim, the food is absolutely amazing."Kyulkyung broke the silence that hang in the dining room.

"Thank you kyulkyung."Kyulkyung could pick up a little bit of coldness in Seonghwa's tone. Turns out he wasn't the only one.

"Come one love take it easy on her."Hongjoong added himself to the conversation.

" Yeah. Don't be mad at her. I'm the one that didn't tell you that I had a girlfriend."Wooyoung was quick to put his point across. The others were silently listening.

"You never tell us anything Wooyoung. We're your family."

"No shit."Wooyoung muttered.

" Wooyoung!"Yunho couldn't hold back the urge to remain silent. His younger brother was being the piece of shit he normally was.

" Okay. Everybody calm down. No need to get worked up." Jaehyun tried to ease the tension in the room.

Jongho had to scoff." And who the hell do you think you are?"

"That's rude Jongho.I think you should apologize." San played his big brother card. "I agree." Joshua nodded.

"Apologize for what? I asked a simple question hyung."

"It's okay. I don't mind."Jaehyun smiled at everyone reassuringly.

" But is it? Is it really okay."Jongho asked while looking at Seonghwa." Cause I don't think it is."

"Why is everyone so on edge. It's not fun."Mingi grumbled.

" Maybe if Wooyoung wasn't such a little bitch then everything would be just great."Yunho didn't bother to filter anything.

" Don't talk to my boyfriend like that."Kyulkyung shot a sharp glare at him to which Yunho rolled his eyes at.

"Why should I listen to you? You're just his little whore."

Yeosang choked on his noodles at Yunho's crazy choice of words.

"Yunho! That's enough."Hongjoong's angry voice cut off their conversation.

" That's rich coming from someone that was sucking on Winwin's dick the other day."Wooyung spat out.

Yunho's eyes flared with rage." That never happened."." But you want it to. Don't think I didn't see you two in the hallway hyung." " Don't call me that if you don't respect me!"

" Boys that's enough!"Seonghwa was on the verge of a meltdown.

" This family is a mess." Yeosang shook his head." I agree."Joshua nodded his head.

" Is that all you can say?"Jongho glared at the boy. Joshua just shrugged.

" What's gotten into this family! I'm so disappointed in all of you. We have guests over. The least you could do is behave. Especially you Jongho. I didn't expect this from my youngest. I'm so disappointed."Hongjoong laid his word on them like a heavy blanket.

" With that said let's get to know each other. Kyulkyung you go first."his tone switched to a calm one.

The girl shifted in her seat to regain her composure." Well. I'm from China and I want to be an author when I grow up."

" You're from China? That's so cool. I've ever been there and I really enjoyed it there. Right Seonghwa? Remember when we went to China that summer?" Jaehyun turned his gaze his friend who sipped on his wine nervously.

"Yeah. It was great."he didn't want to say much. He didn't feel comfortable taking about anything that had Jaehyun in it.

" You went to China and didn't tell us?"Mingi asked in awe.

" Well it was a long time ago."Seonghwa couldn't help but giggle as his son's cute pout.

" Well there's a lot of things you aren't telling us."Jongho spoke in monotone while stabbing his fried rice with his chopsticks.

Jongho looked seonghwa in the eye. Seonghwa had never seen Jongho so angry. His face wasn't showing it but his eyes said something else. It made him nervous and scared. What did he do so wrong to deserve those eyes. He wondered.

"OK Joshua your turn."Hongjoong turned his attention to the American boy.

Joshua cleared his throat." I'm from Los Angeles. But both of my parents are Korean. I grew up there my whole life. My parents wanted me to be more in touch with my Korean side so we came here."

"I like your parents. They have a great way of thinking."Hongjoong praised his parents great parenting methods.

" I hope your parents don't lie to each other."Jongho scoffed. Jongho managed to surprise himself. He didn't know why he was behaving like that in the first place. Maybe it had to be the same man that kissed his mother was sitting right in front of him. Reminding him his family was going to be destroyed. Reminding him his  mother cheated on his father. And the only way to fix it was to break it.

"That's enough jongho. Go to your room." Hongjoong ordered.

"But before that. I think you should know what mom did."

Seonghwa's eyes widened. He felt like he could collapse right there.
