Chapter 14

Both Karsen and I were dragged back to camp, flustered.

"Hey professor if I go play hooky too can I sleep near you?~" The Archer kid cooed and sighed dramatically.

"Archer shut it." Glared the professor.

"I expected better of you two..." He smiled giving a disapproving nod of the head. It seriously wasn't what it looked like though...

I couldn't sleep at all that night. Both Karsen and I were separated by the professor who snored loudly.

The sun rose and I laid there with burning eyes. I didn't sleep a wink. I sat up slowly to see everyone going in different directions. I sighed and went to go grab my stuff and change. I changed drowsily. I brushed my tangled hair and sighed. I looked to Kristen who was as bubbly as ever. She looked like a freaking model this early. I sighed and grabbed a water bottle and my tooth brush before dragging myself to the stream.

"Gosh look at those eye bags." The two witches with a b, cackled. I'm too tired to pick a fight so just poured some water from my water bottle onto my applied toothbrush.

"You heard her, she played hooky with your Karsen last night." Mary laughed.

"How dare she!?" Kelley glared. I finished brushing my teeth and spit out my excess.

"You bitch you are always stealing everything from me." Kelley glared, stomping up to me.

"He was never yours in the first place." I yawn and stretch.

"Gosh have you always been such a smart ass?" She glared putting her hands on her hips.

"I didn't think asses could be smart." I mumbled.

"Ugh I hate you!" She glares and shoves one of my shoulders. For some reason, maybe it was because I am so tired, but I couldn't catch or guard myself. I must've lost my balance because next thing I know I was falling. Well it is what it is. I mentally sighed.

"Hey you okay?" I didn't fall? I drowsily open my eyes to see Darrick had caught me and pulled me into the crook in his side.

"A little tired." I laugh.

"A little?" He raises an eyebrow.

"...a lot..." I sighed then yawned.

"Jeez you couldn't even guard yourself like you usually do, yet you still provoked them with your sharp tongue." He sighed running a hand through his hair. An angel, my guardian angel. Huh? I woke up a little and smacked myself on the cheek.

"D-Darrick?!" Both of the girls screamed flustered.

"Yes. Now can you please leave?" He said showing a blinding smile, causing both girls to blush. "Before I get mad." He added. He had the same face but the aura around was more scary and suffocating.

"I- er okay..." Mary stuttered, grabbing Kelley's arm. "That was kinda scary..." She said to Kelley.

"It was kinda hot though...imagine-" My brain shut down at Kelley. I'm done listening to her my poor mind has already been through enough. I looked up to Darrick to see if he heard anything but he was looking at me with a serious expression.

"Did you and Karsen actually go and play hooky last night?" He asked seriously. For some reason I couldn't lie to him.

"No!" I protest, pulling away from him and holding up my arms with a blushing face.

"Well something happened." He frowned with a cold expression on his face.

"I uh walked in on him finishing taking a piss and I saw it..." I mumbled looking at my feet. "I started to back away embarrassed but tripped over a root. Karsen caught me but in the process..." I shivered. I looked up at Darrick almost scared to see his expression for some reason, but he started laughing.

"I'm relieved...." He whispered and patted me on the head.

"Pardon?" I ask looking up at him through my bangs.

"N-nothing..." He blushed. This dude was so scary and now he's blushing like a little boy talking to their crush.

"Mhm..." I laughed and yawned.

"You should take a nap." He sighed, taking off his jacket, and wrapping it around my shoulders. He smiled and sat by a tree.

"Sit." He smiled and patted next to him. I sighed and held his large jacket tighter around me. I plopped down next to him and leaned my head back on the tree.

"It's uncomfortable." I growled. His smile seemed to grow as he grabbed my head and set it on his hard shoulder.

"That's not really comfortable either." I sighed He gave me a offended look. "I guess it's more comfortable than the tree though..." He smiled again and patted my head.

I guess I really did doze off. I woke up to both do my shoulders feeling heavy. I glanced to my left and saw Darrick, slouched with his head now on my shoulder and my head on his head. On my right is...Karsen who was doing the same thing. He was slouched and had his head on my shoulder.

This is really uncomfortable. I sighed and realized Karsen's jacket was on my lap. I lifted Darrick's head gently. I knew Karsen was a heavy sleeper, so once I got out of the predicament, I dragged Karsen closer and set Darrick's head on Karsen's shoulder. I grabbed both of their jackets a got a mischievous idea. I set Darrick's jacket on Karsen's lap and vise versa. Karsen smiled a little in his sleep and his head fell over onto Darrick's.

I stifled a laugh and pulled out my phone to take a picture. Unfortunately for me the flash and sound was on. I still go the picture but Darrick woke up.

"Thanks for letting me use your shoulder Ann- Karsen?!" He screeched and looked in my direction. I had my phone up to my mouth giggling. Darrick gave me a glare and started to get up, but Karsen grabbed his arm pulling him back into him. Karsen wrapped his arms around Darrick and sniffed his hair. I blushed at the scene in front of me a pulled out my camera again to take a picture.

"Anna, you smell different..." Karsen mumbled lazily, opening his eyes slowly. He stared at the red with anger Darrick. Darrick glared back. Karsen blinked, and pushed him off. He quickly stood up and walked behind me, grabbing both of my shoulders as if hiding behind me.

"I've been violated." He mumbled.

"You've been violated?" Darrick growled, "You were the one who grabbed me." Darrick stood up and marched his way over here scolding Karsen who was behind me, so pretty much, I was sandwiched. While he was scolding I looked down at the photos I took.

"You took pictures again?" Karsen asked.

"No?" I replied.

"She did." Darrick grumbled. I wasn't in a good position right now, sandwiched between both of them.

"Well hehe I gotta go!" I laughed.

"Catch her." Darrick commanded. Both of them went in at the same time trying to grab me but ended up wrapping their arms around each other and bonking each other forehead to forehead.

"Hey!" Both of them glared at the same time. Both of their noses were touched and they had their arms wrapped around each other. Am I getting a nose bleed? I took a quick picture and ran. I have to show James!
