Jihoon felt weak on his knees. The fear made him so feeble and frail. His hands were trembling uncontrollably and his eyes were producing tears so quickly. Soonyoung was calling out to his name but it felt like Jihoon was deafened by his own loud and unsteady heartbeats.

"Jihoon!" Soonyoung shouted and cupped his cheeks. "Bub, what happened?" He asked, his voice was so full of worry.

"S-Soonyoung. . ." Jihoon whispered and reached out to Soonyoung's shoulders, holding him there, trying to keep himself balanced and firm on his feet. "S-Soonyoung, w-we're going to take the bus today, aren't w-we?" He asked nervously.

Soonyoung blinked, nodding, and that's when everything starts to sink in. "I-It's today. . . i-isn't it?"

Jihoon nodded. "I-It's today," he repeated then Soonyoung felt himself starting to shiver too. "A-And you have to g-go. . ."

Soonyoung pulled Jihoon to a hug, and he let the younger sob against his chest. "Calm down, Ji," he whispered as he could feel just how much Jihoon is shaking in fear. "We'll be alright, baby."

Jihoon hugged him back and buried his face on Soonyoung's chest. He pulled him closer, holding tightly as he gathers strength from him, from his warmth and from his embrace. Soonyoung tried shushing him, telling him to calm down and they should make a plan.

Soonyoung parted from him, and held his hand. He led him to the living room, and told him to take a seat. Jihoon sat on the sofa then Soonyoung kneeled in front of him. "I'll just grab a glass of water for you, okay? Stay here, I will be right back."

Jihoon nodded in response so Soonyoung stood up, then he went to the kitchen. He took a glass, filled it with water, then he rushed his way back to Jihoon. He handed Jihoon the glass which Jihoon took then drank all contents until it was left empty. Soonyoung then put the glass on the table, and sat beside Jihoon.

He cupped Jihoon's cheeks and wiped his tears. "We still got two hours before the event. Tell me what I should do, and I will," Soonyoung told him and flashed a small smile, hoping that that would ease down Jihoon's nervousness. "If you think we shouldn't go, then we'll stay."

Jihoon ducked his head down. He saw how Soonyoung's eyes glowed so brightly when he heard about the invitation. He saw how his small eyes twinkled like bright stars on the darkest night, glistening with pride, with excitement and with joy. He saw how happy Soonyoung was, and he can't take that away. There has to be a way where they can go without having to risk their lives.

Besides. . . in Jihoon's dreams, it was only a bus. Nothing will happen as long as they will avoid buses, right? In Jihoon's past dreams, what will only possibly happen is what he saw exactly in his dreams. So if they'll try a different mode of transport, maybe it will be alright.

"W-We'll go," Jihoon said and met Soonyoung's worried eyes. "We will go, okay? And I promise, you will be safe."

"But Jihoonㅡ"

Jihoon smiled at him, and held Soonyoung's hands that were on his cheeks. "Trust me. I got you," he said, his voice was so warm with reassurance.

Soonyoung stared intently into his eyes, contemplating whether that would be too much of a risk or not. But he saw so much in Jihoon's eyes; he saw toughness, firmness, courage and certainty. His eyes were teary, but he saw clearly how it screamed bravery, how it all screamed that he will never fail Soonyoung.

"You are needed there, Soon. And you will be there, I promise," Jihoon told him.

Soonyoung sighed. "Jihoon, I will not let you risk this much, okay? You can get hurt too, and I can never forgive myself if something happens to you."
