Touch Starved Humans are wired to be touched. From birth until the day we die, our need for physical contact remains. Being touch starved — also known as skin hunger or touch deprivation — occurs when a person experiences little to no touch from other living things.
peter has a condition... Touch starved he doesn't tell anyone about this except people he's close to so when he's having a particularly bad day without ned to hug or lean on or MJ with her subtle signs of physical affection he feels lonely Heck even flash isn't here and yes flash beats him up but its better than nothing at the end of the day he walks out to the car with happy waiting in it and silently hops in happy (even though he's not showing it)is worried for the kid
"Hey kid you okay?"He asks worry in his voice as he looks back at him not driving off yet peter smiles a genuine but tired smile "im fine happy im just having a slow day im pretty beat"happy nods and drives off making sure to remember to tell tony about how tired peter is hoping he's not overworking himself he drops peter off at the front of the tower and waves goodbye as he starts to drive away he puts the car on auto drive and tells tony about peters condition
NotThatHappy: Hey tony we need to talk
BigBossMan: about what happs?
NotThatHappy: It's about the kid
BigBossMan: WHAT ABOUT HIM IS HE INJURED DO I NEED TO HURT SOMEONE SHOULD I CALL MY SUIT?!?!?!?!
NotThatHappy: no he's not hurt but I would keep an eye on him he's extra tired today and not that energetic so dont be surprised if he's quiet or grumpy
BigBossMan: Oh Okay ill keep that in mind when he comes up
Peter exits the elevator with a skip in his step as he walks into the lab he's still extremely tired but he's trying not to show it Tony looks up and softly smiles his whole attitude changing around peter less uptight and freer he walks up to peter puts an arm around his shoulders and leads him to the lab table peter instantly leans into the touch feeling safe and loved but as soon as Tony takes his arm away he wines in protest tony raises an eyebrow at him
"peter are you okay if you're not you can tell me" peters face flushed bright red "i..im fine Mr stark really im just a bit tired it was a boring day and we had gym last period"Tony nods and starts explaining a new feature of the iron man suit he was working on peter was getting restless and needed some kind o physical touch so without thinking he leans his head on Tonys shoulder tony freezes up not knowing if he should tell him to stop or not because he didn't hate being leaned on but still thinks if he gets to attached to the kid he will regret it
"......." tony just continues working on the new feature as peter leans on him peter opens his eyes after a few minutes to his head on someone's shoulder as they worked on some techy thing he realizes that its tony and he jumps back falling on to the floor startling Mr stark into throwing a screwdriver at a wall and screaming like a litt-a man he looks back and rushes over to Peter "kid you okay?" peter nods he quickly gets up and starts to apologize "OHMYGODMRSTARKIAMSOSORRYIDIDNTREALIZEIWASLEANINGONYOURSHOULDER"
tony raises a worried eyebrow "kid it's fine I didn't mind" peter looks up with tears in his eyes
tony's heart shatters when he sees his kid about to cry "hey hey hey kid dont cry what's wrong" tony pulls him into a hug and peter leans into the touch instantly tony smiles when peter accepts the hug "Tell me what's on your mind Bambi" peter would smile at the nickname but he's too relaxed in his arms "i..im sorry I haven't told you but I get touch starved without physical contact for a certain amount of time it has been a stressful day and none of my friends were at school ned an Mj usually help so I've been out of it all day"Tony softy smiles and pulls out of the ug he grabs his chin and pulls his face to look at him (no starker) "you could've told me and I would've helped buddy" peter sadly nods and looks back down"wanna watch star wars?" peter looks up and grins as they walk upstairs into the living room and have a star wars marathon
pepper definitely didn't take a picture of them cuddling on the couch and Clint definitely won't use it as blackmail in the future
