"Okay, we're here," Replied Hyunjin.
Da-Eun was asleep on my shoulder, so I woke her up. I could tell all this stuff about Kylie and my complaints tired her out.
Da-Eun opened her eyes and sat up. "Huh? Oh.." she replied.
"Thanks for the ride..." She sat there for a second trying to remember his name.
"Hyunjin."
"Right. Thanks for the ride Hyunjin!" She smiled and made her way home.
"Can you wait a bit? I just like to make sure she's able to get inside. "
"Sure."
"That's cute..." He mumbled.
"What was that?" I questioned raising my eyebrows.
"Nothing." He just slightly smiled and continued waiting.
"Okay. You can drive off now." I waved to Kylie and pointed to my phone, showing her that she can text me if anything happens.
"Okay, now my place. Here's the address." I showed him the address on my phone and he input it on the screen.
"Wait, you live in SkyWay apartments?" He asked.
"Yeah..."
"I live there too!" He remarked.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah. I moved there a couple of months ago actually."
"Oh wow! What a coincidence!" I interjected.
That was nice! At least I know I have someone I know who lives in the same apartments as me.

"Okay. We're here!"
"Thank you so much. I don't know how much I can thank you." I sighed, smiling a bit.
"Oh, it's fine. No need to thank me," He smiled back.
"Here's my number, by the way, just in case you need something. I usually respond pretty quickly, if I'm not at work, so don't worry about me not responding if there isn't an emergency."
"Oh. Thanks!" I chuckled.
"No problem."
We both got out of the car and made our way home. I went up to the fifth floor, dropping Hyunjin off at his complex, and as soon as I got out of the elevator, the apartment manager approached me.
"Hello. Do you happen to be Chaewon?"
"Uh yeah. Why do you ask?" I raised a brow, showing a small, but nervous smile.
"Right. It's been two weeks, and you still haven't paid rent for your complex." He declared sternly.
"Aw, crap. I'm so sorry. I promise I'll be able to pay for it this week. Just give me a few days."
"Sorry, but I won't give you another chance to pay. I can't wait for you to pay for your rent forever." He handed me the clipboard he was holding so I could sign it.
I declined his offer of signing the clipboard.
"Listen, I'll try to pay the rent by Friday. I've just been so busy with hospital visits and paying the hospital bill that I didn't have time to collect money for the apartment. I'm sorry." I sighed in hopes that he'd understand and give me one last chance.
"I don't know what to tell you. You have to pay for the rent today and right now, or I'll have to kick you out."
"But I-"
