"Oh no it's fine! It's the least I can do." He flashed his typical big, bright smile, which always brought butterflies to my stomach.

We explored the mall a bit more, but we eventually got tired and decided to leave after not seeing anything we wanted. That's when I got a text from Da-Eun. She said she went to go check up on Kylie and she was fine.

Today was Da-Eun's turn to check on her. We decided to alternate who would check up on Kylie since it would be easier that way. The days I couldn't check up on her, Da-Eun would, and vise versa. Some days we get to visit her together, which was always nice, but that was every so often. She seems to be getting better, but the doctors can't predict when she'll wake up from her coma and if she'll remember anything or not. It sucks not knowing all the details, but there's nothing we can do about it.

On the car ride back home, Hyunjin and I eventually got hungry and decided to get some food. I'm usually down for anything, but I've been craving hot pot lately.

"Where would you wanna go eat?" Hyunjin asks, turning his focus from the road to me.

I took my phone out to look at the menu "Mmm how about hotpot?"

He smiled and nodded in response. Once we got there, we went inside and took our seats, Hyunjin pushing out my chair for me, which I told him he didn't have to do, but he insisted.

I wanted to go for my usual, but I felt like trying something new today. Life is about trying new things anyway. I ordered the kimchi broth with udon noodles, tofu, spinach, mushrooms, and beef, which actually ended up being Hyunjin's order, minus the spinach and mushrooms. We talked a bit while waiting for our orders and got to know eachother more.

I played with the straw in my drink, "Why'd you choose to become a server?" I asked, finally taking a sip.

"Honestly, it was the best paying job I could find. Both of my parents have jobs, which both provide enough money for daily necessities, but I wanted to get a good paying job so my mom wouldn't have to work. After all, she's been taking care of my sister and I all these years and she deserves rest."

I smiled. A man who cares for his mom and her health and well-being is something I've always admired in guys. None of the guys, I've dated before, cared for their parents. Maybe that's why I admire Hyunjin's personality and actions so much.

Our food finally came and we started eating. The fresh of kimchi enveloped our table as we dug in.

"Let me know if you need anything like more water or extra toppings, and I'll ask for it." He smiled.

I nodded in response, blushing a little. I was the person who was scared to ask people for help, but I knew I'd grow out of it eventually, especially with Hyunjin. I was feeling more and more comfortable around him everyday.

We both finished our meals and were now waiting for dessert. We decided to share a slice of cake as we were both full and didn't want our own desserts. We both decided on ordering a plain chocolate cake, with strawberries on the side.

Once our order arrived, we started eating the cake. It tasted really yummy and it was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had.

Hyunjin chuckled a little while looking at me.

"What's wrong?" I looked at him with my eyes a bit wide thinking it might've been something about my appearance.

He smiled and wiped the chocolate off the corner of my mouth. My eyes widened at his action, but also at the fact that I was embarrassed. I was feeling butterflies in my stomach and I felt myself starting to heat up and turn red. I knew this feeling, but I never got it this fast. I've only known Hyunjin for a couple weeks, and I already get butterflies when he touches me.

I excuse myself from the table and quickly rush into the bathroom, smiling widely, almost giggling. I texted Da-Eun about what happened.
