"Ah, I'm so full," I groaned, leaning my head back on my seat.

"Tsk. You freaking ate all the chicken you dumbass. You didn't even leave any for me 🙄." Da-Eun joked as she took out the money from her purse.

"I'll pay," I replied.

The waiter came by with a paycheck and set it on our table. Da-Eun took the pen and managed to sign the receipt before I could.

"You..."

Da- Eun chuckled a bit, sticking her tongue out.

"Fine. You win this time, but I'll make sure to win next time." I squinted my eyes at Da-Eun.

"Yeah, right." Da-Eun rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit, leaning her head back on the seat.

We both laughed and were having the time of our lives. This night honestly made me feel really happy. It made me forget all about what happened to Kylie and her accident, and it got me distracted from all the thoughts I kept getting.

I tried distancing myself from the outside world because I just couldn't look at things the same. Every time I looked out a window, I just kept replaying the scene in my head. It made it nearly impossible for me to do anything because that's the only thing I would think about the whole day. I'm thankful for Da-Eun because, without her, I probably would've been sitting in my room right now, crying and thinking everything was my fault.

The waiter came by with the check, but Da-Eun managed to take the pen and sign the receipt quicker than I could.

The waiter was kinda cute though. He had long, blonde hair that laid slightly on his shoulders and he was pretty tall. I would say 6'0" (182.88 cm).

I yawned, resting my head on my arms which were placed on the table, as we waited on the waiter.

"Yo, Chaewon." Da-Eun said quietly poking me.

"Mm?" I mumbled looking at the window to my left.

"I think we should go. You seem tired. We also need to stop by the hospital and check up on Kylie as well." Da-Eun took one more sip of her beer and started getting up from her seat.

"Let's go lazy ass." Da-Eun took my hand and pulled me from my seat, grabbing her purse.

I grabbed my jacket and took a sip of her beer since I finished mine, and we made our way towards the door.

"Bye! Please come again!" Exclaimed one of the workers.

"We will!" Mentioned Da-Eun.

We made our way outside and Da-Eun started looking for her keys. While she was finding her keys, I started to feel tiny drops forming on my palms.

"Da-Eun hurry up. It's gonna start raining." I groaned.

"Wait," she said. " I can't find my keys." She continued digging in her purse for her keys.

"I swear they were in here somewhere," She mumbled.

At this point, it started pouring outside and there was no cover we could stand under that could protect us from the rain, so I grabbed Da-Eun's arm and we ran back inside.

"Oh hey, did you guys forget something?" The waiter that served us earlier asked.

"My friend can't find the keys to her car and we're assuming she left them at the booth." I declared.

"Oh wait. I just so happen to have found a pair of keys, are these yours?" He asked, handing us the keys.

As I was grabbing the keys, my hands brushed against his and we made eye contact for more than two seconds. His eyes were gorgeous. They were glowing so brightly like stars in the night sky.

"Oh y-yes! Those look like hers." I said, stammering a bit.

"Oh my gosh that's right! I left them on the table because I was trying to take my wallet out and forgot to put them back inside my purse. Thank you." Da-Eun smile and grabbed the keys.

The keys were definitely Da-Eun's as they had a photocard of Jungkook clipped onto them. I handed the keys to Da-Eun and we left once again, heading to her car.

Da-Eun put the key into the ignition, but the car wouldn't start.

"What now?" I questioned.

"Ah crap, I forgot to refill my car before we came here." Da-Eun dropped her head slightly against the wheel.

"I'm-" I groaned.

Well great. Not only did we not have a ride, but Da-Eun doesn't have cash for a taxi.

"Now what. How are we gonna get home?"

"Maybe we can ask one of the workers?" She suggested.

"I doubt any of them will take us home though because it seems like all of them are working a night shift." I sighed, as I leaned my head against the car window.

"Don't knock it until you try."

We both got out of the car and went back inside. Once again, the same waiter with blonde hair came up to us. It seemed to me he wasn't really busy since it seemed like he was just greeting anyone who came into the front door or answering questions anybody might've had.

"What are you guys here for now?" He asked smiling a bit.

"Well...My friend forgot to fill her car up with gas before we left, and now we can't start her car. So we were wondering if anybody here was done with their shift and wouldn't mind taking us home?"

I honestly felt dumb asking this question as it seemed to me everyone was busy with their shifts and it looked as if nobody was finishing anytime soon.

"Oh sure I can take you guys home! I'm basically done with my shift. I mean nobody else has been really coming in, besides you guys, and nobody seems to be needing help." He smiled again, but this time bigger.

"Oh okay. Yeah that would be nice. Thanks!" I chuckled a bit.

We stood by the door, waiting for him to change and get his stuff.

"Alright guys I'm done! Let's go!" He waved goodbye to all his friends and we made our way out to his car.

He unlocked the car, and opened the door for both of us.

"Oo what a gentlemen." Da-Eun smirked at me, nudging my arm a bit.

She smirked only because she knew that was one of the traits I was looking for in a guy. I wanted my boyfriend to be a gentlemen and to be respectful.

"So, um what about our car? Are we going to leave it here or..." I questioned closing my door.

"I could bring a gas can tomorrow and fill her carp up, and then I can call you or your friend over to pick it up." He stated, looking at us through his rear view mirror.

"O-oh okay." I said looking away a bit.

"Who's house are we going to first?" He started the car.

"Well uh actually-"

"Mine." Da-Eun interrupted, smiling.

She knew I was going to ask him to take me to the hospital, so I'm guessing that's why she interrupted me. I guess it was better if he didn't know what happened since he might tell the wrong people or end up doing something bad.

"Okay."

Da-Eun showed him the address to her house and he input it on the GPS system and we drove away.
