Margret's pov. (Sevy)
A few days after Snape told me about that man Black the others at my table started to laugh at a boy who had a red letter in his hand as he runs from the room. I was really confused as to what was going on so I look over at the closest person before writing a quick note then tapping their shoulder. Why are you all laughing? Why is his letter red? The girl I was asking just gave a small giggle before looking me over slowly. "It's a Howler. A letter where your parents yell at you for doing something wrong. The last one was sent to the same house and the kids mum yelled at him about stealing the families flying car." She says before going back to joining the others in laughing. I on the other hand didn't find any of this funny at all and was a little annoyed by the others in my house for laughing at a kid for him having his parent angry at him. I walk away from my house angry at almost all of them for acting this way.
A few days later it was the first trip to the town near the school and I was excited about going with Snape because he promised me we would go together. I show up at his office and knock on the door but there was no answer. After almost ten minutes of waiting Snape walks down the hall a scowl on his face but the moment he sees me it changed to a small frown. He opens his office door for me and I join him in there before taking my normal seat. "Margret I can't go with you to Hogsmeade today." Snape says and I frown a little and feel the tears start to build up. "Why? You promised we would go." I say in my normal soft tone and Snape gives a sigh. "I have some work to get done. I will make this up to you." Snape says and I nod before leaving him alone in his office to get his "work" done. I end up spending a good portion of the day hidden away in the library. I was passing Snape's office when I hear yelling and paused for a few moment to hear that it was Harry and Snape yelling at each other. I shake my head a few times before heading to my room which I didn't leave for the rest of the day.
There was a knock on my bedroom door but I don't answer it at all. If I said something then Snape would get mad at me for talking. I just turn so my back was facing the door and hear it open. I close my eyes so whoever was there would think I was asleep. Soon I feel large hands on my check before a sigh. "I'm sorry I didn't go with you today Margret. I'm a bad parent." Snape says before he sighs again and I felt a little bad for him. I open my eyes to see him just staring at the wall as he sits next to me so I roll over and grab his hand in mine. "No your not." I whisper and he jumps a little before looking down at me. "Margret you missed dinner." He says and I smile at him before sitting up so I was sitting next to him and rest my head on his shoulder. "I wasn't hungry." I mumble and he frowns a little before pulling me to my feet and dragging me out of my room. I didn't struggle against him as he drags me down to his office. "Snape what are you doing to that poor girl?" Professor Lupin asks when Snape drags me past his office and in the direction of the great hall. "I am taking Miss. Hobblepot to see the head master." Snape says and I stiffen a little before pulling on his arm trying to get free panicked that I had done wrong. "I think you scared the girl. Let her go and I will take her there." Lupin says and Snape scowls at him. "You will not be taking her anywhere." Snape snaps before he pulls me harder away from Lupin. Once we were out of eye sight of him Snape loosens his grip on me so it was more like he was holding my hand then pulling me around.
"I'm sorry about saying that. I just want you to eat something." Snape says and I nod my head quickly before walking calmly next to him. He leads me to a paining of fruit and the looks at me. "Remember this for later should you ever miss a meal." He orders me and I nod my head before memorizing which fruit to tickle to get in. I was fearful when I see the people working in the kitchen and hold tightly to Snape trying to hide behind him a little. "Fish and chips." Snape says to the thing that had been talking to him. I wasn't even aware of what was going on due to my fear and shock of them. Soon a plate was handed to Snape and he turns slowly before handing me the plate and patting the top of my head. "Eat quickly." He says and I nod my head before doing as he asks. Once I was done I walk next to Snape back to his office. He pats the top of my head as a good night before I walk to my room.
